Sean Mullen is a Reno native and USAC alumnus who studied on the Santiago, Chile program and named this scholarship in honor of his Chilean host family. This $1500 scholarship is available in the fall and spring semesters to University of Nevada, Reno students who meet their program minimum GPA.

USAC: Kody Bressman Memorial Scholarship (San Sebastián, Spain)
This scholarship was created in honor of the memory of former University of Nevada Alumni Kody Bressman. Spain Degree-seeking students participating in USAC’s San Sebastián program with a minimum GPA of 2.75 are eligible. Multiple awards ranging from $500-$2,500 will be awarded each semester.
USAC: Félix Menchacatorre Memorial Scholarship (San Sebastián or Bilbao, Spain)
$500 scholarships are available each semester to degree-seeking students with a minimum 2.75 GPA, attending the San Sebastián or Bilbao program, and preference is given to yearlong students. University of Nevada, Reno students must also have completed their MyNevada General Scholarship Application by February 1 to be eligible.
Massey University Scholarship (New Zealand)
Massey is offering scholarships of ~$1500 NZD (~$1000 USD) to help USAC students make their dreams of studying in New Zealand come true. Students with a GPA of 2.75 or higher who will study at any of Massey’s campus locations in New Zealand—Palmerston North, Auckland, or Wellington—are eligible.
USAC’s University of Bristol (Bristol, England) Study Abroad Program
The University of Bristol is offering £2,000 scholarships to help USAC students make their dreams of studying in England come true. Students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher who will study at the University of Bristol for a semester or year are eligible, and preference will be given to STEM and yearlong students.
USAC Carmelo Urza (San Sebastián or Bilbao, Spain) Scholarship
Students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher and whom are participating on the San Sebastián or Bilbao program are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to students who show active and ongoing participation in the North American Basque Organization (NABO) and/or their local Basque community, or who have pursued previous Basque studies.
USAC Discover Middle East Scholarship (Haifa, Israel)
Students with pursuing bachelor degrees with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who attends the Haifa, Israel program are eligible for this scholarship. Recipients will be awarded each summer, fall, and spring semester. Preference will be given to students with little to no previous background and exposure to the Middle East.
USAC Frank and Carol Nota (Italy)
Students with declared majors or minors in English, history, anthropology, sociology, psychology, Italian language/cultural studies, or education. Applicants with GPAs of 3.0 or higher attending a summer, fall, or spring Italy program are eligible. Two awards will be given each summer, and one award will be given each semester.
Janice Proctor Memorial Scholarship (Fall – Torino, Italy; Spring – Thailand)
Colin Proctor, USAC Torino alumnus of Fall 2010, founded this scholarship with his sister, Megan Proctor, in memory of their late mother, who encouraged and supported their desires to study abroad. Eligible applicants must be attending the Torino, Italy or the Thailand program. Preference is given to students with high financial need.
Frank and Thu Triplett Study Abroad Scholarship (France)
Dr. Frank Triplett is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Mount Union and a USAC Visiting Professor in Pau, France. Students with a 2.5 GPA or higher attending the Lyon or Pau, France programs are eligible. Awards go out each fall and spring semester. Preference will be given to students with high financial need.
