It is a great school for those who are looking to work with their hands and find a good trade. The school will prepare students for the working field very well and help students find jobs. The staff is very helpful and nice and is there to help students succeed. Overall, the Aviation Institute of Maintenance is a great place for people that want to get hands-on experience and gain a trade to be successful.
The school so far has been great. I am only 10 weeks and it's a different schedule. THe school in of itself seems a little unprofessional, but at the end of the day they are approved by the FAA and that's all that matters. Instructors have been great so far. Decent balance between in class and in-shop curriculum. But mostly in class.
I love it here, it's a nice way to learn if you're interested in aviation. Most of all the teachers are either air force or have a lot of knowledge of the subject they teach. There is alot of help for you if you need outside help. The school does an excellent job as placing students with jobs. They also help financially if its within their means. Like the student service center tries to help students stay enrolled and will figure out a way to pay for education.
They need a better staff better system not just anyone who says they have the knowledge but know and they don’t the foods good the campus it’s okay some of the class rooms need work done and I feel like one person shouldn’t control all the classrooms Temperature
