I have had a few politically motivated discussions though I am neutral in my feelings about any subject matter I have found that most students that do engage are Republican and toe the party line, sometimes I get the feeling they haven't found their true foundation as yet. Interesting enough most of the people in school are of 2 different financial backgrounds. The first group are paid to go to school much like veterans others are trying to change and need financial assistance to go to school. There seems to be an even balance between the 2 groups. Currently I see all kinds of different subgroups at school and therefore do not believe anyone would be out of place at CollegeAmerica.
My favorite class so far are the accounting classes. I actually do not have a class I do not like as yet though if i had to hazard a guess it is going to be English. So far the Instructors have really spread out the questions so that all the students are drawn into the discussion,so participation is high in each of the classes I have been a part of. Some students are competitive others are not my preference is to compete with myself and do better in each class I take. My goal is to maintain an above 95% or A. My major is Business management and accounting. Most times I spend a little time with the professor but I actually spend more time with helping students with were to find the answers.
I have no idea about the typical stereotype at my school though it feels that we have a very diverse group with the absence of jocks. The absence of jocks is because of no school teams to speak of.
