I love it! It's a small campus so everyone (including faculty) is really involved. The academics are great, the sports are great, and the arts are great. Class sizes are small, which I think is really productive when it comes to conversation and being able to meet with your professor. The freshman dorms aren't super great right now, but all dorm buildings have planned renovations. My favorite part of campus is our coffee shop! I have really enjoyed continuing my education here at Heidelberg.
Heidelberg University is a place where students can find opportunities of every kind, so long as a student knows where to look and who to talk to. The President is always looking to add to the campus with new gym and health facilities, new food providers, and renovating the on-campus housing to make students feel as if the institution cares about their well-being and success. Would recommend this institution for students looking to push themselves and be pushed by faculty and staff.
Heidelberg is a place where there are many options offered to students, you just need to take a chance and explore. Even though it is located in such a small town, the school offers many different activities and groups to join and is surrounded by many great hang out locations for students. Since it is such a small school, the class sizes are, for the most part, small, making it easier for professors to meet one on one with students and they continuously encourage that. So far, I love my experience on campus.
Heidelberg University has a little bit of something for everyone. Heidelberg University is located in a small town, so if that is not something you enjoy, or you need a bug city to be entertained, then I would not recommend Heidelberg University to you. But if you are not bother by the size of the town, then I would recommend Heidelberg University, we are always growing, and trying to better are university in new ways.

After completeling my first year of college, I realize the struggles that come with beginning college and living alone for the first time. Much of these are related to time management. Due to this, if I were given the opportunity to go back in time and give myself advice as a senior in high school, I would tell myself not to get too excited and get overinvolved. In college there are many ways in which a student can involve themselves with the rest of their peers. However, as a freshman, I made the mistake of being involved in too many different things and this caused me to have too much on my plate to handle in my second semester. This caused my grades and social life to suffer because I was involved in too many things and did not handle time management very well. I have learned that doing less things a little more thoroughly and working on my time management are better choices to make in my college career. If I had the opportunity to go back in time and give myself this advice before I had to learn its merits the hard way, I would, in a heartbeat.
If you want to spend your free time only partying and don't make time for study, then this might not be the place for you.

In is in a rural area!! It isn't diverse enough. Its so small.
My school is charming and friendly.
we we all have all have a unique bond with eachother
Really, a mixed bag. My friends were athletes, artists, deadbeats, preps, every part of the spectrum. You can do anything you want and be friends with whomever you want.
I had some surprises which I didn't like learning, but I'm glad I didn't know them ahead of time, or else that may have discourged me from beginning. On a positive note, I probably would have liked knowing most of the instructors are incredibly gifted and dedicated. Being such a small campus one really can benefit from personal attention. Everybody knows everybody -- you never feel like just a name or a face.
Sometimes, due to being a small school and a smaller amount of professors, classes are not always available when I would like to take them.
How close everyone is and how you easily get to know and remember everyone that you go to school with. The class sizes are small and I can always talk to a professor if I need help.
