When I first got on campus the first thing I noticed was the beautiful trees right on campus. As coach McCabe took me around campus and around town he showed me what there is to see in Owensboro and the town is amazing. I loved the campus and all the professors I met. I hope that I will wrestle for the KWC panthers.

Kentucky Wesleyan college is a small college. The campus is relatively small compared to other colleges or universities in Kentucky. The class sizes rarely grow to be larger than twenty-five students, however, there are exceptions. This facilitates instruction, because professors are better able to leture and connect with students in one on one teachings or tutoring sessions during office hours. Like any college or university you will find that it is the most diverse place compared to the surrounding urban areas. Overall, Kentucky Wesleyan College is a good college with lots to offer if you know where to look.

Adan - 10/06/2018

The college is really lives in the grace of God. There is a chapel service every week on Wednesday at 12:12pm, and community project. The most recent one was build a bed project where we build beds for children in the community who don't have beds to sleep in.

Kentucky Wesleyan College is a private post-secondary college that strives to endure a higher value in their school system. The president, Barton Darrell, greets and knows everyone's name, he's a great embodiment of what the the school is. There's a variety of opportunities in this college, whether that's sports, clubs, or events that take place on and out of campus. For example, the college was able to take a few students to Holiday World for free. The most valuable aspect of this college is the amount of love and support the faculty have for the students. They truly believe in us, and I have seen that help others and myself become better students. I love my school.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself that the world is in my hands; to remember that I am responsible for my own destiny and that I am capable of accomplishing all the things I hope to. I have been out of High school for eight years this year, and in those years I have gone through many life changes and acquired much wisdom. One particular piece of wisdom that has changed my outlook on the world, and its obstacles, is a quote by Randy Pausch. "The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something." That single piece of wisdom changed my life, and helped me find my way back to the course, that is currently leading me towards the future I want and deserve. It is this piece of advice that I would give to myself; I feel that remembering this, alone, would give me the ability keep going - especially when things gone tough; to climb those brick walls and remember the bounty that waits on the other side, is only there for those willing to work for it.
