Midway University is a school that, in my opinion, exemplifies Kentucky in one school. It's small, in the country, with horses all over; how can you can more Kentucky than that! As for the school, the small campus is easy to navigate and the people here form close nit groups that can help get you through the darkest days of school. Classes are small unless you're a STEM major or freshman with most classes having 20 -25 people in the class. The curriculum is, you get what you put into it; similar to many things in life. Sports are a huge thing here which I love. There is not a week without some sort of activity or sporting event. Student outreach is also a good thing here as they are ready to help you by any means possible. Overall, I would recommend Midway to people who have the desire to go to a small school.
Midway is a wonderful place for traditional and non traditional students. As a non-traditional student I was leery to return to the classroom and be able to keep up with the course work since I had been out of school for a while. From the very beginning I have been guided and encouraged by staff to push forward. Midway offers a variety of online courses along with in set courses to be able to cater to all students.
I do really enjoy Midway. It is a good environment and I love the people here. The one thing that I am at Midway University to get is an education, and Midway undoubtedly gives me that. My professors challenge me to be the best I can, and my coach and teammates hold me accountable for my academic success. The only reason why I give Midway University four stars instead of five stars is that there are little things here and there that I would change, such as the food in the cafeteria, the accessibility of stores and restaurants around the university, and the availability of parking on campus. However, overall I love this school and I am glad I chose it for my home away from home for four years.
IT is fantastic. There are multiple opportunities to be the best person you can be on this campus. The faculty and staff are great and I love the relationships I have with all my professors. This school provides a very safe campus and all the students here extremely friendly. Come to this school is like having a second family.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Midway University is 60%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Parents, when looking for a college for your child insure that the college you settle on is the right college for them. It is important to look at size of schools. Larger schools are more of a challenge to focus on school work and many students may get caught up in ?the college life". Students, when looking for a school make sure it meets your needs. If you know you won?t be able to concentrate in a classroom of two hundred students search for a smaller school. If you enjoy exercising make sure the school you choose has an exercise facility. Students to make the best of your college experience get involved with clubs or events that take place on campus. Get out and meet new people. College is the time where you make life long friends and to do so it?s important for students to participate in the activities on campus or events hosted by the school.
i wish i had known what i a wonderful opportunity midway college is instead of crying the whole day my freshman year
It's a women's college that has a very encouraging and empowering environment. Students there are really pushed to be leaders and to take advantage of opportunities for their career and their life; to not let being a woman make them feel like they should settle. The small enviromnent is also great because everyone knows everyone and the professors really care about the students.
The best thing about Midway College is the friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy the small class size and the teachers are very helpful. I don't worry about recieving bad grades because my teachers help me study and spend extra time explaining things.
My school is a very small, and unique college that is most interested in the well-being of the students.
someone with plenty of money and a mid or low high school GPA
Our campus is an all-girl's school, except some of our night classes have older men in them.
being kentuckys only all women's school and for being the best nursing school in ky...it is really the ivy-league of kentucky
People looking for "party schools", fraternities or sororities, a way to meet guys, and people who want a "big school feeling" should not attend Midway College.
It is very pretty with a classic southern feel and easy to get around.
The faculty doesn't get treated very well and there are not enough professors. Sometimes the classes that upperclassmen need to graduate are not offered in time. They also changed their scholarship policy and didn't honor the original terms for mine, even though I had been enrolled for 2 years.
The worst thing about this school is you have to drive a decent way to be able to go out and do something
