I love the fact I am able to organize my classes around my work schedule. Meaning that I am able to keep my part-time job, while also being able to spend at least 15 hours a week on my study for all three classes. One of the things that I love most about this school, is the afordiblity. Thanks to the cost of this school, I was able to pay out of pocket with the I currently have, so I don't have to add more to my student loans.
It is a very neat school with lots of resources for students to use whenever they please. MCC has free tutoring and even helps find financial aid for students who need it. This school has teachers on campus 24/7 so that students can get the desired help they need.
Mohave Community College gives you an option to save money and go to a community college in a small town. While you are in a small town you are able to save money that you would not be able to at a university. There is no on campus sleeping options but you can stay off campus in the town.
It is a decent community college. I would say that you get what you pay for. It is a cheap and easy way to knock out any general education/prerequisite classes before transferring to an actual university. However, I know there are many Associate's degrees and certificates to choose from that you can get a job with. Many of the administrators are not helpful. All the professors I have had are kind, helpful, and understanding.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Mohave Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell myself as a Senior in High School to apply for financial aid right out of high school, so that I could go to college sooner than I did.
The campus's average student mainly consists of an older generation of current or ex drug users.
The school I attend is a small school. I aboslutely love that the staff knows you and your situations. I also love the student apprciation days that we have on campus.
I wish I would have known about all the club activities Mohave Community College held. If I would have known in advance I would have worked my schedule around to include time to join one or two clubs. Finding out the club meetings gather at a certain day and time every week is only helpful before a class schedule is set up.
Someone who has no intrest in their own future or destiny, and does not want to continue to learn or expand their mind.
The most fustrating about my school, and most schools I've been to, has to be the financial aide deparment. Granted there are great people working there that do all they can, for some reason every semester something gets messed up with my financial aide and we never know why.
Mohave Community College is an excellent 2 year college offering an array of programs you can access online and on-campuss with a 30/90 program with NAU.
At Mohave Community College the technology is the worst. A decision was made to change the email accounts and other websites associated with the college. The updates have still not been completed. Technology does take time to conquer, but the new links should not be released to students until the updates are complete. That way, students do not become frustrated when the website does not perform well and the help desk does not have to redirect everyone.
Anyone who wants to further their education and or try to get their GED.
I brag mostly about my teachers that I have. I also brag about the class in general. The list of classes is not very long at my school, but the classes that they have are amung the best classes I have taken by far.
