Southeastern Technical College is great for students like myself who are making their own way through college without the aid of gaurdians. It is a very nice college to attend for someone who wants to start at a small college and transfer to a university.
It was a good experience that is preparing me for a bigger college experience. The classroom size was small, which made learning easier. Teachers and students actually know each other, so they care about you passing and doing well in their class. My skills have improved since I started here.
Southeastern Technical College is an amazing facility. In my year of attendance, the students have been very diverse. Since STC is a technical college, there are people of all ages so you can always fit in with some group. The Professors are always accommodating and more than willing to help whenever possible, and the facilities are beautiful and extremely clean. Southeastern Technical does not have a food-providing cafeteria, but it does have a lounge area in two buildings, that I know of, that have tables and vending machines for snacks, drinks, and even coffee. They also provide a refrigerator and a microwave for students' convenience. STC has multiple campuses, Vidalia and Swainsboro, Georgia, but they also provide a multitude of off-campus online classes and even hybrid (online and classroom) classes. STC's partnered websites make online classes extremely easy to use. Even the older generations are able to use them efficiently within the first few weeks, and if not, students and professors alike are willing to help them get up to speed with the technology at hand. I have really enjoyed my time at Southeastern Technical College, and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small campus, with the perfect class sizes. I would also recommend Southeastern Tech to those who are still in high school. STC accommodates high schoolers under a Dual Enrollment program, meaning that the student can earn high school and college credit for one class at the college. I have been a part of this program for three years now and have loved every minute of it. Overall, Southeastern Technical College is a phenomenal College, and I would highly recommend it.
