Applicants must be high school senior that has already been accepted into an accredited college or university, or a current student enrolled at an accredited college or university full-time. Students must be pursuing a degree in health science and be interested in providing care for patients with physical disabilities in the future and have a minimum GPA of 3.5.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship for Cancer Survivors

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship For Cancer Survivors provides assistance to cancer survivors who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Applicants should be age 25 and under, high school seniors or current postsecondary undergraduates. Up to 25 students will receive $10,000 scholarships.

Anarcha, Betsy, and Lucy Memorial Scholarship Award

This $5,000 award is given to honor three former enslaved women knowns as the Mothers of Gynecology. The award will be given to one (1) African-American woman who is a known descendant of American slaves, and is enrolled in an accredited US medical school program. Finalists will be interviewed by Dr. Thornton.

The Jack Abramoff Family Scholarship

The Jack Abramoff Family Scholarship program is providing a one-time $500 scholarship to any student who is currently attending or has plans to attend an accredited US college or university. The eligible programs are listed: Business, Healthcare & Medicine, Social Sciences, Psychology, Biology & Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Data Analytics, Education & Teaching, IT & Computer Science, and Liberal Arts & Communication.

F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program

The F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program is aimed to assist students pursuing advanced medical degrees. The Army’s Health Care team is offering to pay full tuition for a graduate-level health care degree for any medical, dental, veterinary, psychology or optometry program in the United States or Puerto Rico.
