I like Coconino Community College, they have helpful and pleasant staff. I was having issues with financial aid and they were able to help me and fix the problem. I have met a few people and have grown to build friendships. I feel there is a strong sense of community there.
It's a nice quiet school. Most professors are part-time so not always accessible.
Coconino community college is a great place to get an education. It is cheaper than the university in town and people often opt to go here for general education rather than paying more at the college. There is a lot of outdoor activities offered within a 50 mile radius. Plus the community in Flagstaff, AZ is very friendly.
Upon my first arrival in college me and my family were incredibly stresses, mainly due to the fact we were from out of state and I had yet to completely be registered in any classes. When we asked someone for assistance they were incredibly helpful, describing all the things I still needed to get finished for registration and more, they would stick around until we had everything out of the way or didn't need more help. And the staff is not only friendly and helpful, but many of the students who go are quite friendly and widely divers coming from many different areas so making friends was not so difficult. All in all Coconino Community College is a good place for people to gain education or to first try college if anyone is unsure.

If I could back back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I would have to tell myself a couple solutions to make my life easier. I would tell myself that I should have taken my classes more seriously, to have started with a better G.P.A.I would also inform myself to look for more scholarships, that I could have made work for me. Including the facts that high school is fun and thats okay to enjoy it while it lasts but that when it comes time for class, to make the most of class. I also would have told my past self that I should have gone out and get a job to start saving up. I would have basically told myself to make a plan, knowing what I wanted to go to school for yet or not, atleast start somewhere.
I wish I would have understood how to fill out the FAFSA form. It would have made my life so much easier and my grades so much higher.
Coconino Community College is great for those who would like to get a headstart on their college bachelor's degree for a much lower cost than a standard 4-year university. The art programs are pretty incredible, as are the dance programs, though I can't say that any of the programs at the college are bad, as I have never been truly dissatisfied with any of the courses I've taken. So be you an artist, business student, or whatever, I would highly recommend this school.
The teachers are always willing to help me, and they ask about me and my life. They know my name and they care. There are only ever 30 students in the lasses so its not hard to get to know your teacher and they realize that life happens and are willing to help you get through it not make it harder.
Coconino Community College is a mid-sized community college that is both a great facility at which to get your associate's degree or to take classes on the cheap for your bachelorate.
My classmates are a group of individuals with a wide variety of interests and life experiences.
I believe that Coconino Community College is best known for being able to assist their students to the best of their abilities. Their willing to make sure that they are doing what the students are asking of them and helping to the best of their being. Also best known for having a healthy and very user friendly locating the classrooms at the campus.
I picked this school because it was close to my house and they tranfer all my credits to the big University really good.
Coconino Community College has a relatively small class size compared to the state universities. Small class sizes make it possible to really get to know both the professor and other students. Getting to know the other students provides an opportunity for new friendships and study groups, both of which help students do better in their classes. Getting to know your professor is helpful because it makes for a learning environment where students are comfortable asking questions about class as well as life in general.
My financial situation has changed. Both me and my husband are out of work. I tried to appeal my financial aid application and i still can not qualify, with the information i gave all it did was lower me a couple of points. I'm paying for my classes out of pocket, which is very hard since neither one of us is working. We are looking but nobody is hiring.
