Its a good school, and good place to connect with other students, while sharing similar experiences. I really do spending my time, learning, and developing in classrooms. The teachers are really nice, and they keep me motivated at school! Lastly, I do recommend that Cosumnes River College is a good way to start off college strong!
I attended Cosumnes River College from 2009 - 2013. The campus is beautiful and looks like a University. The teachers are always available, kind, and helpful. Classes are fairly easy to get into as long as you have completed the prerequisites (if there are any). There are clubs that you can get involved in. I was in Sister 2 Sister which was an amazing group of women who were professors at Cosumnes River College or students. I also was involved in the clothing drive put on by Professor Hutcheson. Cosumnes River College prepared me for Grand Canyon University and ultimately shaped me to be a better student.
A school to get a start toward your education. Buildings are clean students are there to study and focus on their education, and even seek parttime work through work study programs and career development. The Learning Resource Center to study and do homework at the Library with lots of free books and textbooks the teacher puts on hold for a student if they are waiting on financial aid. A student center to receive information and resources. There is a great bookstore for textbooks purchase or rental, all you school supplies and teachers are knowledgeable, the school has an orchestra that have events throughout the year and you can earn extra credit if you attend while in music class.
I think Cosumnes River College is a great school for people straight out of Highschool and have no idea what they are doing. It has lots of options to help students really get to know what college learning is like. Although there is not much extra circulars. I kind of view it as a self learning Highshool.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Cosumnes River College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Hey Louis, I hope you are enjoying your fantastic senior year. I am very proud of your incredible atheltic accomplishments this year in football, wrestling, and track. But, now it's time to buckle down. It's time to really think about what you want in life and what you want to accomplish in your career as a business man. You really need to get out of that lazy phase because let me tell you, you're in for a real ride in the real world. There are no second chances in life, and no one is going to care that you overslept or that you didn't feel like doing your work. No ptofessor in college is going to hold your hand and give you the answers when you miss things. You really need to turn into that responsible man that I know you are and put your priorities in check. Enjoy your senior year with all the special activities, but know when it's done, the real first chapter in your life begins.
Despite my qualms with their language department, at Cosumnes River College, I was able to have a new outlook on life. As an Art major, taking my essential classes for transfer, I was able to learn a lot and still am surprised at the new techniques and material that I?m learning. The campus tries to move forward in time and offer an array of classes that apply to the present.
I wish I knew what I wanted to study, and that its a whole lot easier to get general classes out of the way.
I believe that any personnel who is not dedicated to school and gives up easily should not attend this school.
My school is best known for having a diverse campus. There are many different cultures, religion, and ethnic backgrounds that attend Cosumnes River College.
The worst thing about my school would be inexperienced and not fully-educated teachers. There are a few teachers that often stumble on their lectures and made a lot of mistakes. The class would have to correct them almost seven out of ten times. I am the student and I am supposed to learn from the teachers. If the teachers are not even sure on the subject(s) that they are teaching, then there is no reason for me to go to class because I can just learn from books.
A life changing opportunity in advancement.
My classmates are very goal oriented and are fully determined on achieving their future goals.
I believe that a person who is willing to do what ever it takes to achieve their goals and accomplish their dreams should attend this school.
The professors that teach at the college because they really want to help you and make sure you are ready for the University experience. They care about the work you do and what path you are following in life. Many other professors do not care much about their students but the ones at CRC really do their best to be their for their students and they put in a lot of effort to make sure their teachings styles keep students interested. They do their best at making the classroom environment not only enjoyable but a great learning one.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the lack of guidance. I feel that it is very hard to get information here; financial aid, the process of graduation those are the worst and the things many of us need help in the most.
I like the fact that all the classes are smaller than universities. It makes it easier to focus on the material and to get to know my classmates. Smaller classes also make it easier to discuss material with the professor and gain a better understanding of the class.
