If you want to party on a large campus with shops and activities nearby, then Darton State College is not for you. But Darton is the perfect place to make new connections and friendships while getting an education. Darton is a great college for those that new to the college experience. It's small campus makes finding classes easy. The students are friendly and make new students feel welcome. All in all, what Darton lacks in nightlife it makes up for in a tight knit college community with professors that are always there to help you achieve your goals.

Darton is a great school to go to if you live in the area. They have a great nursing program, but the college is not located in the nicest city. You usually only come if you get a scholarship or you want to live off-campus with family.

    The cool thing about Darton is that you're not one of masses: you matter and so does your career! Darton is a great starting point whether you know what you want to do and are ready to get plugged into some awesome programs or if you need some help refining your options. My professors helped me discover my passion for public communications and gave me the resources on campus and in the Albany community to build my professional resume.

    Darton College is best known for its nursing program. The level of instruction is superb. The instructors really care about their students.

    The best thing I consider about my school is differnet social events. I like the events becuase it is a good way to get people out there to make friends, get well-rounded, and enjoy yourself. I love the clubs and organizations they have put together for the students at Darton College. It really makes a differneces to see people come together to share laughter, and time with each other.

  10. What kind of person should not attend this school?

    A person who is not strong willed or determined to succeed should not attend this school. Darton College Nursing program is tough, but not impossible. The classes are structured to be challenging and they are not your typical class lectures, they teach you how to "think" not to simply pass your standard text, but to succeed in the field of nursing.

    When I brag about Darton College, I tell my friends that while I am able to work full-time, I can still go to school and complete my classes online. Since I am not a tranditional student this is great for me at this point in my life.

    The most frustrating thing about my school is getting someone to help me with my courses I have problems in. It is also frustrating when some people cannot understand my learning disability, and they don't understand my learning style.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
