I love my school. I enjoy being in my room but I have met amazing people here. Fried Chicken Wednesday is one of my favorite days of week, of we’re being honest. Historically Black Colleges/ Universities are as important as Predominantly White Institutions. Give one a chance.
Elizabeth City State University is a very small campus and you know it immediately. It only takes about a good ten minute walk from one side to the other. The only thing that this has to offer is the professors. The professors here a very nice and always available. Beside that, the campus nor the town of Elizabeth City has nothing to really offer.
My time here on Elizabeth City State University has been exceptionally remarkable. The general population on the grounds are agreeable a few companions was not an issues. The educators are truly pleasant and constantly prepared to offer assistance. The gatherings that the associations toss on grounds have really great results.
Overall the college is great, lots of friendly people, very easy to make friends. The campus is fairly small so its easy to navigate and to get to your classes on time, the classes are small and its easy to get some one on one time withe professor, all in all it's a real great college.

I would definately tell mself to work harder to get better grades. Now that i am in college i can see that grades are what keeps a great GPA, which brings in scholarships. If companies see that my GPA is low, they wouldautomatically assume that i am not a hard working student. Because of that i wouldn't get a scholarship because they will fear that the money will be wasted on someone who isn't goint to use it the way they should. Having better grades now pays off with scholarships and even internships. Even tough a GPA is low, it doesn't always neccessarly mean that a person is not hard smart, they may just be slacking and not working like they are suppose to. That is exactly what i was doing in high school. Now i know that working hard will definately pay off in the future.
The worst thing about my school is their food. Honestly, they do make good food sometimes, but other days they are like awful. Me and my friends always joke about their food; we always talk about calling of those restaurants improvement shows and have them come to fix the cafeteria. If they can fix the food a litte better, then maybe I would not complain so much when I decide to eat on campus.
It is great
All kinds of people should attend because the university treats everyone respectively different to cater to the students needs.
My classmates have really diverse personalities.
Everyone can come together and make you feel as if you belong to a family.
I tell them that everyone in the music department is super cool and that they will meet many talented students here (including me).
I think my school is best known for our Social Work program. Its really a great program t teaches you how things will really be out there. Alot of people enjoy that program because they really notice how it can help their community as well as others.
The best thing i consider about my school is that their arent many distractions. You have many recources to have to help you along your four years attending the institution
I wish i would have known that Elizabeth City is a small town abd if you are coming from the city like me you might want to have a car.
A person from a really city area like DC, Chicago, New York, because it is very boring and country.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the cafeteria food. I believe we should have a better variety of foods to select from like a buffet that we the students would want to eat for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. We need that daily nutrient in our body to get us through the day. I believe the cafeteria hours of operation should be more flexible for those who are in class during cafeteria hours. If the campus would provide better cafeteria food and more hours that are flexible for the students, there would be fewer complaints about this issue.
At ECSU there isn't a certain stereotype, there are many different stereotypes. There is a stereotype for a little bit of everything. ECSU has a very broad student body, there are people from all over. Everyone is different in there own yet the same. Everyone is there for to recieve an education no matter what stereotype.
