I think Hartnell College is a great community college that allows students for growth. There are a lot of opportunities and programs and they’re mainly run by students, which are pretty great. It is very diverse and you get to meet a lot of different characters, which is fun. The professors are good for the most part, but it really just depends.
Hartnell is a very good College. There are plenty of ways to get involved and the professors are Outstanding. I totally recommend if you live in the area or out. The only negative about this campus is the fact that the campus is somewhat small, meaning only so many instructors can teach the same subject and at the same time, so early registration is very important.
Hartnell College is a great campus because it offers small size classes, opportunities to get financial/academic assistance, a library with fast access to the internet. The faculty is kind to everyone and the janitors always leave the campus clean. Also, Professors keep in track with the syllabus and office hours.

First of all I would remind myself that high school is the best time in your life. They are the best years that make you who you are going to be in the future. I would tell myself to enjoy every single year of it and to not take school for granted. To take care of yourself because high school is all about making choices, high school makes you who you are going to be in the future: whether you are going to be a mom, a student, or an employee. Most of us think that high school is not that important, but it is, your high school diploma and your GPA are what count the most. If I had only known that high school was not that hard, and that I only had to study to pass my classes with good grade, I would have done it, but I was too lazy back then. High school is not just about fooling around, or just relaxing back. It is a step towards your future, and right then when you finish high school is where you life starts and what you will make of it.
The systems they have because they let certain students register for classes first.
Hartnell College is a well rounded community college that I have found to be exactly what I have needed to get myself ready for the next level in my quest for a higher education.
I am not sure what Hartnell is best known for sinces it offers so much for its students. I believe is best known for the help it provides the community's students.
It's a very outstanding school because the teachers are great.
Hartnell is very close to home so I never have to worry about travel issues. There is even a bus that goes to the main and satilie campuses.
Before I came to Hartnell College, I wish I would have known that community colleges are alternate routes that I can take if I cannot afford universities. Most high school teachers look down upon junior colleges like Hartnell College but it is the most reasonable or affordable even though it would took me years until I could transfer to an actual university.
That there is not that much help when you need it. And that the Administration workers are not that helpful sometimes. Sometimes they will brag about answering questions. Some of the counselors add more classes to your educational plan and some dont want you to graduate, they say you can not do all classes in two years.
The best place to get your work done on camps is the library. It is a quiet place and all the resources are at the tip of your fingers. There is people surrounding you that can help you or there is also private study rooms where you can get your work done in an efficient manner.
Their is not real stereotype at Hartnell. For the reason that it is very diverse, but everybody gets along with each other. Yes, the stereotype is accurate because you will not see many people of the same race. You will see it is equally distributed.
This school is perfect for any one who lives in the Salinas Valley. This community college offers many oopptions to meet almost everyones needs, from, certificates ,AA degrees, and transferable units.
There really isn't any kind of person that shouldn't attend Hartnell College. This community college has something to offer anyone; young, old, ambitious, lifetime students, disabled and athletic. This is a great starting point for someone that isn't quite sure of what they want to specialize in when they continue on to a university. Maybe, the ONLY kind of person that shouldn't attend Hartnell College is the person that doesn't want to expand their educational knowledge.
The budget cuts that are only being aplied to the art and music department. Without art or music to relax the intellectual side of the brain, the brain grows tired and weary.
