I have loved NC State ever since I first toured it! It's definitely a school where you can 100% be yourself and still be completely accepted and find a great group of friends. I joined a sorority my freshman year to make it easier to meet people because I am out of state and it was the best decision I made. Greek life is not a necessity, but it's a ton of fun and hold many opportunities for volunteering and always having people to study with. Overall, the school is located in a great city on an amazing campus with some of the best people I have ever met!

One of the best technical/engineering schools on the east coast. Great career fairs in both the fall and spring makes it very easy to land an internship. Greek life is decent and there is usually something going on during most days of the week to keep students involved

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Sure the food is okay, the academics are exceptional, our engineer facilities are world-known. However, there is a major dynamic to be found in the student community. Our campus has a 35,000+ population and sure, everyone is not going to get along with everybody. But, there is a divide that can be found between minority students and non-minority students. This university preaches and advocates that they are diverse and inclusive. However, once you get to campus, the minority community is not thought about and scarcely represented in and outside of the classroom. Members of the various minority groups on campus often feel unrepresented and uncomfortable on campus. This is not something that we should have to deal with nor are we going to stand for. While there are some organizations and departments that are making an effort to reform this issue, there is still a long way to go.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

NCSU is a very clean campus located close to the nightlife & activities of downtown Raleigh, many beautiful parks (Umpstead, Lake Johnson, Lake Jordan, etc.), and the busy shopping town of Cary. There is something for everyone to do while they are in school here!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Choosing NCSU was the best decision I've ever made. Everyone here is very friendly but takes their academics seriously, so it is the perfect learning environment. The faculty does everything they can to help their students and are flexible towards their needs. There are so many great study places and the campus is beautiful.

NC State offers a dearth of academic opportunity and is home to the best and brightest students in all of North Carolina. I relish the chance to be a part of such a special community; despite what some say, this school isn't *just* for engineers. Go Pack!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I love the campus and everything there is to do there. I can be involved in sports, other outdoor activities such as biking and fishing, and numerous opportunities to get involved on campus. There are countless clubs and organizations to join, and I am involved in a few myself. I love my school because there is a sense of pride in our teams and school as a whole.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

NC State is a great school in that there is something for everybody. For those who like tailgating and school spirit, football and basketball are big even if we're not that great. For those who like the arts, we have a Crafts Center and an arts scene that's a little more niche but still has its share of cool things. Downtown Raleigh is small but there's good restaurants and parks and clubs if you're into that. It's a big school, but it has a lot of sub-communities that make it seem smaller. Everybody gets a bad teacher now and then, but overall the quality of education is good. There's a seemingly infinite amount of resources at the multiple libraries and lots of study spaces.
