My overall opinion of Talladega College is that its a great school with a great teaching curriculum, but just needs more improvement on many things such as the food, facilities, and more extra curricular activities.
Talladega College is not what I expected it to be. One of the only things keeping me from not transferring are the people, southern hospitality and the fact that I am an athlete. I am from California and the culture change is something I am embracing, however, the environment in general is not something I enjoy. There are not many sports here at Talladega College like most 4 year universities and our athletic facilities are not eye catching.
when looking at talladega from a student prospective i would say that the college life is the best thing right now. there is so much support from the students and staff it is unbelievable. if you are nervous about college there is no need to be because talladega stick together as a family and try to make sure everyone be a success.
Talladega College is full of historic buildings and artwork. It really makes you appreciate the history of the college. Our professors take time to tell us about the rich history of the college and that we are all privileged to be able to come to such a historic landmark.

i wouldn't give myself advice because my high school and my parents prepared me for college. College life is actually easier than high school.
My school is not the best school because it does not provide everything that we need, but it teaches us that if we make it out of there then we can make it in life.
The students at my school are very hard and working students that are willing to make it in life and to be someone.
I will not lie Talladega College was not my first chooice of school, it was my last. The unique about Talladega College is that it in a small area and everyone know each other. You can walk to all the stores in Tallladega. I think coming from a big cities(IL) it is good for to go to a small town. The class is easy but you have to listen becuase most of the teachers and doctors hardly speak english.
i wish i would have known that the campus is in a small town where there ain't much around.
The kind of person should attend Talladega College that want to get away from their family and from a big cities.
if you are not organized, dedicated or determined then Talladega College isn't for you.
I brag about the good friendly atmosphere and how good the food really is!!!!
