It is a great school, lots of opportunities both academically and community. It is expensive though which can be difficult. Generally the professors are easy to get in contact with when you need extra help and they are very understanding of what graduate school is like and supportive when you are faced with difficulties.
The counselors of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in any information that one may be curious about. They are extremely helpful in ensuring that you are staying on top your paperwork and proper documentation for the application process and afterwards. They are seemingly insightful and always willing to go out of their way for you. There is so much to do around the school and enjoy yourself outside of the classroom.
I am in the online doctoral program; thus, some of the ratings I am asked to give are inapplicable. For example, housing on and off campus does not apply. However, I believe TCSPP is a top notch institution for higher education. The online work is predictable, peer-reviewed journal focused, and led by highly knowledgeable professors with an array of experiences to integrate the material.
It's an amazing school that is culturally diverse and accepting of whatever color/ gender you are. The professors are always available to aid students if needed and the students are friendly. Their online program is also great and very interactive. Students have a high sense of community and are very friendly and helpful.

When i was in high school, i was not the best student who had the best gpa or won extreme awards , when i started college i realized that i could change the status of my education and make it better for my self. My college experience has been greatly rewarding, i have learned many things, that I did not get a chance to learn from when i was in highschool. College really opened up my eyes and made me realize that regardless of how my highschool education was, i still can go to college and get a real deserving experience and make it right . I can gladly say that my college experience , has been valuable to attend because, i got a second chance at making the right choices regarding my education. I can honestly say that i've had a chance to earn a high gpa and now I 'm able to go to any university of my choice to continue on with my education. My college experience has not only been rewarding but also a long beautiful journey of new unfolding things, it has been a great ride and i can say that i'am proud of my self.
Although there are only six additional classmates in this cohort, each is compassionate, intelligent, and comes from diverse backgrounds.
someone who is deticated hardworking and interested in psychology
That it is very interesting, keeps me focused and teaches me a lot.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that credits do not transfer. I am currently enrolled in the counseling psychology program, but received a Master's degree in the general psychology program. I am looking to become a licensed counselor. I have taken several of the classes in my first degree curriculum and not a single class is transferable.
