This scholarship is available for first generation Asian Americans in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara or Solano county of California. Applicants must be high school seniors at the time of application and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

State University Grants (SUG) are need-based awards for tuition that are administered by CSU and go to eligible undergraduate and graduate students.
UCI Dean’s Scholarship
Deans’ Scholars entering in University of California Irvine in the Fall 2020 will receive $3,000 per academic year (final amount subject to federal and state financial aid regulations). Entering freshmen and transfers may renew the scholarship for one additional year if they maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

BNSF Railway is focused on making a difference in the communities where our employees live, work and volunteer. The Robert Hunter Swadley Horticulture Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale who will be entering an accredited college or university located in the United States as a freshman with a major in horticulture. The applicant must be a United States citizen residing in the state of California.
The Maasai Haile Jones Memorial Scholarship
The Maasai Haile Jones Memorial Scholarship is exclusively for residents of San Jose, CA. Eligible applicants must be African American students who are high school seniors or college freshmen. Three finalists will be selected. Grand Prize: $10,000. First runner-up will receive $5,000. Second runner-up will receive $2,500.
Prush Farm Park Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is for undergraduates majoring in agriculture or a related field, full time at a college or a university. Applicants should be Santa Clara county high school graduates. The minimum GPA is 3.5.
