It's a good school! I learned a lot and it's the same classes as University just cheaper. The faculty are kind and always willing to help you. The class sizes are quite small and I love it. It makes it easier to get closer with the teacher and needed help. Everything is cost-friendly like health benefits and computers free to use. The cafeteria is nice place to study, it's not loud. Big spaces to eat with friends. Limited menu.
This it my first year. I have heard so much about this college. I feel like this is going to be a great to go get what I need done.
Butler is actually a college that I would love to attend, but I'm currently stuck in Florida. I have applied to the school but I don't have enough bus fare to travel to the institute. With the chance to win the scholarship I can make my father proud of me being the first in our family to graduate from college. Lastly stating that I would appreciate the opportunity of this scholarship if granted the chance.
I am a sophomore at Butler and I have enjoyed both years I have been here. For the most part all the professors have been easy to work with and make a point to help the students. The class sizes are the best feature to me because in most classes there are normally no more than 20 students.

Butler Community College sets high expectations of it's students, with goals to aim high for yet within reach and attainable, always stretching the mind and abilities just a little further in order to help each of us to reach just a little bit higher and to extend beyond ourselves just a little bit further so we can be the best we can possibly be, bar none!
My classmates are enthusiastic learners, with broad backgrounds and rich life experiences ? from the high school student getting a jump start on his college education, to the grandma that has in interest in learning about Vincent Van Gogh.
There is not enough parking at the Andover 6000 Building Campus.
The kind of person who shouldn't go to Butler is if you are looking to be an communication sciences and disorders major, like I am. I would not apply because Butler does not supply courses in relation to that major. All they have is speech communication degrees, if you want to be a speech pathologist. However, since I am going to be a transfer student, I am in Butler just to take my general education requirements out of the way, than transfering to WSU or OU for my undergraduate and graduate studies.
I would have to say the most frustrating thing about school would be all the homework you are expected to do along with working and having children. This would be the reason lots of individuals give up and don't go back. All students have bills in there own way and they have to get paid some how and we don't get paid to go to school so inturn this means college students must have a job to support themselves.
I have heard of how hard the nursing program is to be accepted into and that because of this it is highly recongnized by our local healthcare community. I am a hard worker and wanted to insure is would receive the best program. You get out of butler what you put into it and the teaching staff is great. Each and every teacher and staff member has understood that I'm a full time working parent and adult and have worked with me to reach my goals.
Butler Community College provides students with many opportunities to help them begin there career path while still in school. To me, as a student that's a bit older than my fellow classmates, this is fantastic. I already feel like I am behind in school and I don't want to fall behind in my career before it has even begun.
I wish I would have known a bit more about my school, as far as the extracurricular activites they offered and the ways in which I could have been involved even more.
Anyone seeking an education, whether for entertainment or degree application, should attend Butler County Community College. Butler offers a broad variety of activities and classes to students at all levels. And, the classroom formats that are offered are flexible. There are campuses located in several counties for convenience; in addition, classes are also offered online or through video learning. Because of the variety of classes and flexibility of location, anyone should be able to find a class that is right for him. Butler is a great educational institution for the non-traditional student, like me, or the traditional learner!
The classes are fantastic. The teachers really know what they are talking about and want to help you pass the class in any way they can help. The teachers also assign homework amounts similar to what a university or state college professor would assign. The classes are classified specifically under specified groups of majors and associate degrees which makes it easy to schedule. The academics are great and mostly derived to the students needs and wants for their majors.
The school puts on many student activities. Many students go to the ice cream social, and the college transfer day. The ice cream social is a event where students get to talk and meet with other students going to the school. The college transfer day is an event where students can look at other schools and learn about the academics, and requirements that need to be done to go to that college. The college has many clubs that are available and there is no club more popular than another.
Butler Country Community College is a great school. It is a great school to start at. This school teaches students right out of high school what college is really like. This was very useful myself a current college student. The teachers give students a work load that would be similar to what a bigger college would give. This helps students prepare for universities, or state colleges.
Football. Butler Community College is generally the #1 ranked Junior College football program in the nation. It's always a lot of fun going to games, especially since I run the cameras from the media booths!
