Carrington College of Sacramento is a private, fast paced school where they offer schooling for many different programs. I had attended the ASN program, LVN to RN program. There are amazing instructors whom help you succeed not just in school but in your career. You have a library with amazing teachers whom proof read your work for you and help you with any question or computer problems. Clinical sites are impressive and not your normal skilled nursing rehabilitation. My overall opinion is if you want to do your schooling and you want to do it fast and also with no other option. This is your school to go to. Good luck!
I think it is a great school, very success based. There are tons of resources to make sure that you are able to do everything you can to ace your classes. The student library is always open to students, and there is always a tutor you can go to if you need some extra help.
Over all the Sacramento campus is very clean when you walk in. I have had a couple appointments with admissions to get into the LVN-RN program and I am not disappointed so far by how they come off. They show that they really care about students and ensuring they succeed while also making sure they maintain good grades. I will be starting school here in November 2018 and I am excited to start.
Carrington College has been one of the best choices I had ever made. Carrington's staff is excellent. You can find any staff member to help you with anything that you need. Classes go by fast and start very early. The counselors help you with the very first step in school which is being able to attend the first day of school. No matter what they will always be there for you, and if you miss a lot the teacher and your counselor will always give you a call to check if everything is ok.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Carrington College-Sacramento is 45%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
The best advice that I would be able to give myself is dont procrastinate, Start college right out of high school so that you will be able to do the things you want to with your life. Get your assignments done, if not on time before they are due, Take notes on everything even if you think its not worth taking a note on. Don't spend your money on things you do not need, budget and save so that your not put into a rough spot when you need it the most. Life is short, have fun with it, even if your school work is stressing you out take the time to breath. Things will come to you so much easier.
My school is very hands on and personal, the staff is everywere to serve you.
What's unique about my school is that it provides a full hands on coarse in the field of interest. Another great thing about my school is that the class sizez are much smaller then the tradition schools which nice cause it can be difficult to get all the help you really need in larger classrooms .
I truly love how open the open door policy really is. The teachers and staff are really laid back and they all make sure that all students know that we can come to them for any issues that we have, whether it is personal or academic or financial. The coordinators and other higher staff members will come in to each class once in a while just to check on everyone and establish relationships with all of us to make sure we know we can be comfortable enough to ask for anything we may need.
I wish I would have known the excessive costs that incur with each program; such as, books , on line subscriptions and other items.
There is no face to face with the teacher. I feel that personal interaction with a teacher is needed, although going into a classroom for me is something that I am unable to do with 1 year old twins.
Someone whos isn't serious or focused should not attend Carrington College due to charges of school and also time.
I like to tell everyone about how flexible and comfortable the environment is. Since I go to a trade school, people of all different ages and backgrounds attend my class, which makes everyone feel relaxed instead of pressured to be the same as everyone else and the teacher treats everyone as their own person. Although there are strict rules about professionalism, everyone is allowed to put their own originality on their uniforms, mannerisms, and school work.
