I loved Cincinnati State. It is a great way to quickly earn your degree. They offer plenty of services to help you find a job or transfer to another college. The professors are very knowledgeable and really care about you as a student. The class size is small so if you have questions it is very easy to ask your professor.

Over all is one of the best things I've could have done in life. It's great! They are very on hand. I don't have a problem when it comes to getting help. The tutors are special. Even though I'm disable, its ok because no one makes fun of me. I feel normal and my grades are wonderful.

Mary - 12/06/2021

I chose Cincinnati State as the place to start academic career before transferring to a publid 4-year university because it was close to home and far more affordable than a traditional 4-year school. I found the classes engaging, student social life satisfying, and the quality of academics comparable to the courses I have taken since transferring to the University of Cincinnati.

Noeli - 05/11/2021

Cincinnati state is an excellent college populated by students who are there to learn. Lots of students who have spent time in the workforce and are there to better themselves. Lots of students who are working and paying their own tuition. With students invested in their money working for them students are focused on their academics and not as likely to be skipping class to party. The grounds are well maintained and the clubs are fun. It is a good school for a reasonable price. The teachers seem to really care about their students and the study help centers often have volunteers who can help when a teacher cant. Cincinnati state is a good school if you are looking to for a place to learn not party.

  7. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I think the worst thing about my school is the administration does not seem concerned with student success or achievement. It seems like many students are just going through the motions of school with no real goals or plans of action. Lucky for myself, I was able to take control of my college career/goals and now I feel like I have a bright future, even if I did make a few mistakes along the way. Unfortunately, many students drop out or give up because they just feel defeated. The path to success is rarely a straight line.

Cincinnati State has some of the most challenging and engaging technical programs in the state, and also has one of the highest post-graduation job placement rates in the state. The technology available to the students is both abundant and advanced, unlike other community colleges I have visited. I feel as though my fellow students truly take pride in the accomplishments they make academically and are able to make connections with the faculty. As a first year Surgical Technology major, the dedicated faculty of the ST program have been incredibly invaulable, providing the knowledge and respect essential to my success.
