I very much enjoy the environment of the campus, though it may be large it is still very beautiful. Their cafeteria food is made fresh right in front of you and they offer a different menu each day. I would take a tour over and over again if I could just to see the turtles swimming. The staff and faculty are friendly and helpful. I have been able to pass all of my classes because the teachers have been understanding toward family issues. They host a new community option each week, such as arts or choir, even holiday specials. I suggest that anybody come here for the affordability and access to many resources.
I think Estrella Mountain Community College is a good and caring school when it comes to financial and school classes. The teachers are ok, though they are open to students all the time for questions and such. There is really no housing since it’s a community college.
Overall EMCC is a great place to take classes here because of the variety of classes this college has to offer. There are always events to get students involved and to meet other fellow students. The professors are always helpful and are almost always available for any questions and concerns. The campus is very peaceful with a lot of helpful resources to succeed in every class.
Estrella Mountain Community College has a great environment. People get a long great, the teachers are amazing and the resources on campus are helpful. The mentors are also very helpful in terms of guiding a student in the right direction of where they plan to do.

Take your schooling seriously for it will be your future. Take time to understand and choose what you want to go to school for, let it be your passion and something you could dream about everynight. Don't want to go to college for something just because it's good money or because someone thinks it's right for you, dream it, live it and love what your going to do. Know in your heart that its never to late to chase your dream and when you reach it and have it in your hands it will feel like you have just been born.
Easy to talk to, willing to help each other, and regular people.
The location is very conveniant for my busy life.
My school is one large family because everyone is very kind and helpful to eachother. You could go to anyone for help and they are willing to help you to their best ability.
The only thing that I wish someone had pressed firmly on was for me to continue my education right after completing high school. I don't suggest taking even a semester off because you will look back later, when life starts to hit you hard and think, "I could have already been done.".
Estrella Mountain is best known for their programs in Art and Business Management. It has an open admission which is a plus in every applicants' mind.
Like any school if one is not willing to learn and do the work then they should not attend this school. Another type of person who should not attend this school is one who thinks that just because it is a community college they can get away with anything there, it is still an institution of learning and should be treated as such.
When I tell my friends about my school, I brag about the awesome teachers I've had more than anything else . I also tell them about how great the smaller campus and class sizes are.
My school is way different then Page High School. Copper Canyon isn't as exciting as Page High School. Page High was a school fulled with spirt, laughter, excitement, and communication.

The worst thing about my school is the fact that it does not offer a four year degree program. Well, that and the horriably long waits to see a guidance couselor! Sometime they are bloacked out for an entire month!
Since the school is close to many restaurants, stores, and movie theaters, you can find other students outside of class. The most popular thing to do here though is just hanging out at the movies or restaurants with friends. The dating scene is a little noticeable among the college freshman students.
The most frustrating thing would have to be that as one advances in their math classes, the probability for receiving assistance for a particular math course lessens. This can get extremely frustrating at times because in the higher classes the need for knowledgeable tutors is necessary.
