Folsom Lake College was a great community college! I got really amazing professors and had counselors who made sure I was going on track with my courses, making sure I was doing well in my classes. The campus was very clean and the cafe was alright. I loved this college and would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a community college before they go to a 4-year!
I enjoy attending Folsom Lake College. I would say the teachers that I have had truly care about their students, which I think is hard to find at most colleges. The school life could use some work, but otherwise I really enjoy going to class and making new friends from my classes.

Hey Laurissa! Start preparing now for the college atmosphere. The work is harder, the teachers are tougher and it's nothing like highschool. Take notes often and listen to every word that exits your professors mouth. Expenses may be an obstacle, but please Laurissa, just keep moving forward for your kids. This is the stepping stone to the career and life that awaits you and your family. Please don't give up. It might get tough and you may feel like just throwing it down the drain, but I assure you that it will be worth every hour of studying, every late night and early morning, every second spent researching, and every day at the library! Every minute you miss out with your son and daughter, just tell yourself that you're going to college for those precious little angels...to give them a better life and to better yours as well. Try your hardest and don't slack. Turn assignments in on time and take your time while doing them. Give 110 percent, and Laurissa, please just follow your dreams.
The thing I brag most about my school to my friends is the location and the beautiful surroundings. It is such a pleasant atmosphere to learn in. There is a sence of peace, so it makes class a very nice experience, the teachers are wonderful, classmates, friends, professors and the population at my school is extremly polite and helpful.
Folsom Lake College is diverse, energetic, and inspiring.
My classmates are young college students that are serious students but friendly people.
My school is small so I get more attention and one on one help from my teachers. Its located close to everything and the staff is exceptional.
The worst thing about my school would have to be the lack of diversity. It's in a higher scale city than from where I am from, and sometimes the conversations around race and ethinicity can get a little awkward.
Anyone shoudl attend this school, especially if they are just dipping their toes into the college world, working while going to school , or are coming back to college; it's for everyone.
My school is est known for, its great educational classes. Also having some of the best teachers and learning environment in the area.
My school is unique because the student body is small, so it's a very friendly campus. The professors are great and willing to help students succeed in their classes. It's also a fairly new school, with some buildings still being built, so the current students really help shape the campus for the future students.
That I would have to take some classes at the EDC center and some at the FLC center, alot of traveling.
