it is full of strong-minded, appreciative people who generally care about you and your well being. Simpson is a community that will reach out despite your background or belief. everyone in the building wants to help you build a better future, for yourself and others. they establish ways to make you become more successful .
Simpson University is a great university that's also a small college. The environment at this college is a very christian welcoming school. The school is located in Redding, California that is surrounded by wildlife, and fun outdoor activities for the weekend.
Simpson University is an amazing school to study at. It is a fairly small school with class sizes not exceeding 50. The food is decent on most days and the coffee shop provides great service. What I enjoy most about Simpson is the community. There is an overwhelming sense of belonging among the students. It feels like home away from home.
When discussing Simpson with a group of current students, you may get a lot of mixed reviews. Some may tell you how much they love being a red hawk while others will just tell you to run away. The problem is, the school and the way you view it is heavily based on your outlook. If you have a positive attitude, you will find things you love. You will make connections and have tons of activities to join in on. You will also thrive in your classes, because honestly, they’re not that hard. But if you go into Simpson with a bad attitude then you’re setting yourself up for failure. This is a private Christian school, so obviously there are going to be rules and it’s not going to be a fun party school experience like you might expect. But you will meet amazing people and hear great stories. You will feel loved and cared for by staff and faculty and even have fun at their school functions. This school goes out of this way to make you feel like home, and they do a great job at doing it. However, just like many other campuses, there are issues. There are a couple things that students dislike (food options, financial aid, sports, etc.) Luckily, the staff at the college is always responsive and does it’s best to listen to students complaints and actually make a change about it. Simpson truly is a great school with a mission to serve God and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small but loving Christian education.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Simpson University is 52%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Start looking at colleges early and stay on campus. If the right school is c hosen then the things you experience will last a life time. If a chance to do a summer or semester abroud is given to you take it. It is an amazing experience that you can share with other students on campus that you would have never ran into without it.
For parents: let your children live on campus and visit campuses by themselves. You can be there but let them try to experience the school without you. Children will choose what makes you happy abd what you would want. This is not always what is best for them and could even resent you for the rest of their lives.
Depending on the class, my classmates are interested in learning but occasionally inattentive and easily distractable; in general education courses, students typically do not pay attention as much as they would in their chosen field.
I feel like I knew a lot about this school before I came here.
Simpson Unversity prides itself in being a campus of community. While most of the campus does indeed live as a community, their seems to be certain groups that segregate themselves from the rest of us. For a campus that pushes for unity, it sure does always look like it.
Supreme education that fits individual lives to meet their goals. Teachers that really care about your success and want to bring about an era of new education.
The flexibility of the ASPIRE Program.
There is no specific person that should attend this school. They should just be the type that enjoys knowing almost each individual they walk by and enjoys small campus life.
When I convey to my friends the perks and benefits of Simpson University, I reveal my experiences with my professors, who have an authentic heart for their students. They do not make the courses easy by any means; however, it is their desire to work alongside their students to teach them how to graduate successfully from college in order to go into their future career as fully developed individuals.
The campus it self lacks the number of students and finaces to expand their facitilities due to mediocer enrollment. it would be nice to have a few more students so we could afford the facilities we really need. it would be wonderful if we could have a reall weight room too, the current one is not adaquate.
Simpson is known as a friendly community that encourages students to discover their potential and pursue their dreams. Students are also encouraged to grow spiritually and form deep and lasting relationships with classmates, roomates, and professors. The campus is beautiful with a veiw of the majestic Mount Shasta.
I think a person that shouldn't attend this school would be someone who does have a problem with religion, who doesn't want to be on a fast track, and if they don't like private schools. All of that you have to take into account when choosing a school.
This school provides a unique fellowship experience amongst students and faculty in that we all seek a higher relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We strongly believe in giving back to our community through community service and other such forms of volunteer work. This school also supports the Fine Arts programs available here, and often hosts many concerts and other cultural experiences, as well as the performances/recitals of the ensemble groups on campus. The professors are extremely approachable about anything needed to succeed in their class, and the resources for academic help and counseling are incredibly useful.
Going to the dollar theater with friends.
My overall opinion of Simpson University is a awesome school. I enjoy they way everyone expresses their faith and love for God and Jesus. Furthermore the teachers are very helpful as well if a student needs help on something teachers are flexible; try to do there best to help.
