Overall, SEU is not a bad school, but looking back I might have chosen a different school. I came here as a STEM major, but the entire culture is geared towards liberal arts and ministry majors. If you are not one of those majors, expect not to fit in outside your circle of the few STEM majors that attend here. Also, it is frustrating how much I pay to go here, when the elevator frequently breaks down and other minor things are dirty or broken.
Southeastern is a very beautiful and safe school to be at. Walking between buildings is very calming and allows for me to feel at peace and safe. The size of the school is just enough fro you too feel independent and like and adult but not too much to where it is overwhelming.
Southeastern University has a beautiful campus, friendly staff, and a very inviting atmosphere. I felt very at-home there and I am extremely excited to be able to attend the school this coming fall. Both of my parents attended there about 25 years ago and are both very proud of how much it has grown.
My opinion Southeastern University is mainly my goal after graduating to be in attendance. I have been in the Upward Bound program since the ninth grade and I have been attending Southeastern University on Saturdays and in the summer time for the Upward Bound program. I think that this school will be a good fit for me because I am familiar and I'm ready to get started and set out the plants to achieve my goals.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Southeastern University is 45%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
well, I would tell myself to be very patient. To pay attention to those I would meet and be friends with forever, and also my now Husband, but I would also tell myself that I must be dedicated to the learning process. I would tell me/her to be more self motivated than I am now. But while there are many details that I would change from my college experience, the same could be said of the rest of life, and I am who I am now because of what I've gone through and accomplished. Then I would wish myself luck, and watch to see what happens.
Fun to hang out with.
The cost to attend, because it goes up a little each year.
Its a place to learn and not play.
A person who desires to grow closer in his/her relationship with Jesus, should attend this school. The spirituality and realness on this campus is absolutely astonishing! Students who want to be close to their professors and feel able to access them at most any time should attend. If being heavily involved with outside groups and clubs is your thing, then SEU offers a variety to choose from.
That there is alot more financial aid out there if I look in the right places.
Southeastern location can be a hinderance. A blessing if you have means of transportation. The school does not offer shuttles to get going to the groccery store. It is a blessing because students are right in between the tampa and orlando, where jobs, internships, and fun can be had. I remember trying to get around last year was a little hecktive. I even tried to get the bus, but because it is in a small town the bus stops running early. Also Southeatern does not offer enough schlorship oppurtunies for the students. Scholarships for intened majors are very scarce.
Southeastern is best known for being a Christ-centered environment with an strong emphasis on creating a true love of learning, unique in its Christian perspective.
The best thing about Southeastern University is how close you become to the students, staff, and faculty. I've never seen such an inspiring group of individuals. The campus is like a huge family, everyone looks out for everyone, you make friends everywhere you go and I havn't ran into a rude person since I've started attending in August.
Someone who isn't willing to follow some rules
I think that the campus is beautiful, the professors are helpful and kind, and the atmosphere of the university life is very welcoming.
My campus is known for its beauty and it's people. It is sucha small community composed of teachers, counselers and admisitrators who have a heart for God, their study, and the lives that will one day will change the world. Unlike other school they are easily accessable an will help you through any problem whether it be personally or school related. Something I have never experienced before. Southeatern is a safe haven that feels like family. Although not perfect, Southeastern strives to produce world changers that wil be the flicker of a flame that ignites an entire nation.
