I love this school! I always feel welcomed, and the campus is just so beautiful. Everywhere is walkable, and the class sizes are small, so you get personalized help. Our best majors are Education, Music, and Fishieries/Wildlife. So if you are pursuing one of these fields, and enjoy individualized help, then Valley City is the place for you!
I was very impressed with the campus housing and the college in general. All the people were very friendly and very motivated to help me to be motivated to achieve my goals. They have many facilities they have improved on and that is very impressive to me because I know they are expanding to fit the needs of the students.
I love coming here, everyone is nice, the professors will help you if you ask and they will know you by name. The facilities are great, the staff are always friendly, with a passing nod or a friendly chat with students. I am glad I am a student here.
I believe that Valley City State University, or VCSU, is a small based institution who exemplifies its academics with its intelligent and caring professors. The small community is very college driven and supports everything that the college does. Small shops around the little town give student discounts and what student doesn't like cheaper things? The classes are small but very student driven. The activities to do around campus are plentiful and fun, including many social clubs and organizations. The food in the cafeteria is always hit and miss, but the residence halls and other campus buildings are beautiful and very functional. Overall, VCSU is a great little university that cares about its students and pushes them in the right directions in order for those students to become difference makers.

I have learned that the best time to go to college is immediately after high school graduation. I like the small school atmosphere, especially as an older than average student who has not been in the school setting for quite a number of years.
VCSU is an adaptive and technologically advanced university where a student should expect to work for and receive a quality higher education.
Most of my classmates are very into their studies, but also like to have a good time.
Anyone who is looking for a great small school with big opportunities in education major
The small class sizes and the easily accessible resources are the best part about VCSU. If you have concerns or questions, the teachers will either give you the answer or point you in the right direction.
Proscratinating is never a good choice. If you have trouble with it you should try to correct it as soon as possible to help get the best education possible.
If you are not willing to work for your education and all you wanna do is slack off and eat potato chips in your dorm, Valley City State University is definitely not for you. Attending this school means putting in a lot of work; work that will definitely pay off in the future.
This school is best known for it's excellent education degrees
The price of books is outrageous. Last semester I spent over $800 on my textbooks and there should be alternative, less expensive ways to acquire the material.
Valley City State University offers a diverse campus with accessibility to technology in a world that will eventually require technological skills in the workplace. The ability to socialize with students from different areas of the world advances my perspectives in the classroom. The student-teacher ratio allows individual attention with professors and more opportunities to stay involved. The wide range of classes offered increases my skills in a vast amount of areas to better my knowledge for Graduate School and a career in Education.
I try not to brag, but I do tell my friends that I like the campus and the people there are easy to talk to and get along with. You get one-on-one experience that you won't always get at the bigger colleges.
