This award is for Connecticut upper-level undergraduate students who are enrolled in an undergraduate teacher preparation program at an eligible college or university in Connecticut. The student must be a minority student (African, American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American or Native American heritage) and intend to teach in a Connecticut public school after graduation.

The Foundation of AFWA Undergraduate Scholarship
Female students who have completed at least their sophomore year of college (i.e., 60 credit hours) and are majoring in accounting or finance are eligible for this scholarship. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors or older students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate course of study. Students must be pursuing a career in English- or Spanish-language print, photo, broadcast or online journalism, be Hispanic, and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
FSCJ Women of Tomorrow Endowed Scholarship
This award is available for part time and full time female students at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Applicants must be 28 or older at the time of application, and must be returning to college after at least a five year absence from education.
Ron Brown Scholar Program
The Ron Brown scholars program honors students making impacts on their communities. African-American incoming college freshmen are eligible for this award. Applicants should demonstrate academic achievement, leadership ability, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need.
Paul H. Robbins, P.E., Honorary Scholarship
This award is for U.S. minority students who are entering the junior year of their engineering program.
Byron Craig Sessions Scholarship for African American Males
African American men between 17 and 25 years of age and planning to enroll at FSCJ for the first time are eligible for this award. Students must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and plan to attend classes on a full-time basis.
National Black Nurses Association Scholarship Program
This award is available for members of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) who are currently enrolled in a nursing program with at least one year of study remaining.
