Forget about the stress of high school. It all gets better and you'll be around people just like you. Write what you really want to right and fuck what everyone else thinks about it. Be surreal and yourself because Chester is awesome and people will actually understand your poetry. Keep looking forward and reach that goal.
The snow can be annoying sometimes
Chester College is a great school for those looking for a small, away from the city community, but does has it's faults - it is important to do your research before choosing a school.
Artistic and creative.
I really felt like that I belonged here. It's a really small school, and the most accepting school I looked into. It really wants the students to find out who they are as an artist, and a person.
Very diverse. Creative thinkers who think outside the box. Eager to go to class on a daily basis.
I wish I had known about the teachers. After being here for 3 years, I have come to realize that the college does a lot to cover up their faults to the public, making them seem like a perfect college. In fact, they are far from perfect. The faculty are biased. If you have a problem with a teacher, they do whatever they can to make the teacher look good and not help you. Some teacher favor students, providing a negative learning experience for those who are not "favored." They also don't like to admit when they are wrong.
The school is targeted at artists, writers, and thinkers. It is set in a small town that is surrounded by slightly less smaller towns, but these are accessible only to those with cars. At Chester, there is no life within walking distance. This is a place for artistic people who like solitude and don't mind being away from the city.
Anyone who likes living in the city should not come here. It is really quiet but there is not much around. Its great for the people who enjoy environments like that but if you would prefer to live in the city you would not enjoy it at this school.
We have awesome classes like Erotia Writing, surrealism, and Zombies!
It is very difficult to go off campus if you do not have a car.
