Overall, very good school. The class sizes are generally very small, and the professors are almost always readily available to answer any questions you might have. They seem to really care about you as a person and not just a student, with some professors giving out their personal cell numbers in case you need to get a hold of them.
It's an amazing school with kind people that are really there to help you reach your goal.
I love the Midwestern atmosphere at Concordia! It is homey and always makes me feel welcome and safe. Combined with their amazing academics this is truly a unique place. What allows for this comfortable but challenging space is truly the faculty. They are the superheroes of the modern world and it is a privilege to learn from them.
Concordia College is a lovely campus full of lovely people. Everyone from the students to the staff and faculty are bright, warm, and welcoming. The classes are stimulating, and the liberal arts ideology of the college encourages exploration and experimentation in fields beyond your own. Besides people and classes, the extracurricular activities are extraordinary. There is an incredible variety of student organizations and clubs to join, as well as the college's accomplished sports teams and renowned music program. On a more technical note, Concordia's facilities and campus are also top notch. I for one am beyond impressed with the Frances Frazier Comstock Theater, where the theater program puts on splendid productions, and with how beautiful the campus is. Finally, the neighborhood is quite safe and Concordia's Public Safety officers are always available should something fishy occur.

If I went back in time to myself as a high school senior, I would tell myself to be prepared. In high school, I didn't take my school work as seriously as I should have and I procrastinated a lot. I would tell myself to not procrastinate as much and work on homework ahead of time. I would also tell myself to take the music theory class that my high school offered. If i had taken that music theory class, then maybe I would still be persuing my career as a musician instead of English writing. Another thing I would tell myself is to manage my time better between homework and a social life along with other aspects of academic life.
hard working during the weekdays, alcoholics on the weekends
I think a person who is looking for a great education and who is looking to find themselves. Concordia offers both of these to every single student that enrolls at the school.
I wish that I had known to be more involved from the beginning. I think that I missed out on some basic opportunities that my school loffered my because of being too shy. Also, it is never to late to start being involved!
Concordia College is to influence the affairs of the world by sending into society thoughtful and informed men and women dedicated to the Christian life. It is a cozy place with lots of friends.
The fact that the campus is located in a small town can give it a small town feel. Although there is nothing directly wrong with the education offered, sometimes it is easy to feel in a bubble.
Concordia College is a wonderful place to learn who you are. There is a wide variety of different opportunities, classes, discussions, and lectures that can help you discover who you are and what your calling is after school. The professors are wonderful and are excited to teach. The students at Concordia are excited to learn, and enjoy discussion and conversation.
Concordia is known best for its great academic traditions and pride in the school.
If you need to feel like there are thousands of people around you. Concordia is very tight and very friendly.
The school's mission statement "To send forth into the world, thoughtful and educated young men and women dedicated to the Christian life" very much resonates with my own dreams and aspirations. I wish to make a difference in this world, and this college is a wonderful place to grow and live and learn. I'm not sure exactly where I am headed, but I know that God will surely lead me.
I brag about the Dining Services at Concordia College when I tell my friends about it. I 've talked to my friends about their cafeterias and they don't have as many food choices or variety as I do at my school.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that many professors believe their class is THE most important class, and they don't take into account all of the work that students have to do for other classes. There is a huge homework load here, and sometimes the professors don't understand all that we have to do. It is also very frustrating when you have tests/papers/projects in almost all of your classes all due in the same week. That gets to be a lot of work and can be overwhelming.
