It was the first college I had ever attended. And I have to say, I had a fun experience. Despite the COVID situation many of the professors worked hard and were easily assessable. The advising counselors were extremely helpful and knew what they were doing. Many students were a bit reserved but in the end many became good friends. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at East field and I hope other future students can too.

My overall experience of Eastfield is that it is a good school to come to and affordable. However, they need more food places to be able to go to and then more scholarship opportunites to be able to get. I feel like if the school advertised more things that go on on campus then more people would attend and people would be more social about the school and have fun coming here.

I really like Eastfield College. The classes are a good size, not too big or small. The campus itself is very nice and well kept. It is a smaller college but I feel that is a large part of its appeal, along with the affordable tuition. The professors are extremely helpful in providing quick assistance and availability. The education provided is definitely equivalent to that of a larger university, though the 8-week courses can sometimes feel a bit rushed.

So many things!! I really wished I would have known what my degree was going to be before I started going to community college. If I had that knowledge, I could have taken the classes I needed for my degree. That way, when I transfered, I could have had several of my basic engineering classes out of the way.

Well I am not exactly sure what Eastfield Community College is known for exactly. I do know that a lot of students who attend Eastfield are graduates out of high school who are looking to get basics out of the way until they decide what they want to major in or adults who are trying to continue their education. Working and attending Eastfield has allowed me to save up when I transfer as well as give me time to decide what my major will be. I have decided I want to contiue my education with a physical therapy major.

  11. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

While attending Eastfield College, I have noticed a lack of drive and ambitions in many of the students and teachers. I'd love to see more people that looked as though they were on their way to becoming something of importance, verses looking more like a creature straight out of a horror film. I feel as though I'm driven to become something very helpful to a vast majority of people but am unable to due to lack of funds and motivation from others. Seeing my College in this negative light during my first year scares me greatly.

  12. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

What's unique about Eastfield Community College is how hands on and interactive the teachers are with the students. When I first decided to attend a DCCCD school, Eastfield stood out most to me because I heard the praises it was receiving from past students, and with the school being close to where I lived, I decided to try it out. I never regretted going to Eastfield College because the teachers built me up to the person I am today, and I would certainly recommend this school to any student that wants to start off at a Community College.
