Scottsdale Community College does not compare itself to the other Community College Maricopa has to offer. Scottsdale Community College is a school I chose to transfer to because of the amount of opportunity it gives the students. There is much more being given, there is much more being offered at the school club wise, academic wise, involvement, almost all around. I had many difficulties applying to different Maricopa schools and campuses due to some poor decisions I have made and I've taken care of. Scc has always been there when I call, when I chat online. It's always there and it's ready to answer my questions. They give me full in-depth real-life situations that may or may not happen to make me aware. Scc is a school I would definitely recommend for an upcoming student who doesn't have the option to go to university. The school works with you and they guide you step by step how to apply to Scc, and how to apply to financial aid. Scc ranges from major to Major going from a business major, a computer major, medical major and even Visual Arts. Scc takes care of their students and puts them as their first priority. Overall the school offers an opportunity and I won't take that for granted. This will be my recommendation school and my school choice to get my associate's degree.
The Scottsdale area is very beautiful but expensive. The graduation rates are not the highest, however, Scottsdale Community College holds high academic standards. The library is massive and so much technology is available for continuing our education as students. It's probably the best thing about the school. Our athletic teams are kept to high standards as well, and very supportive and thankful for all teammates, coaches, and staff. Each sport has two fields and are the best fields in the valley for the community colleges.
Scottsdale Community College is a great community college! From what I've been told it's ranked 4th in the nation which means it has to be a great school to attend. The environment is nice and the teachers here are more than willing to work with you.
Scottsdale community college is great! There are plenty of resources I find impressive especially for a community college. Everyone on campus is very nice and friendly. Not many big clicks but Arts and Sports are appreciated at this school. Faculty is great! Classes are excellent. Love the food and the landscape is beautiful. Great location and cost. Love this school great vibe. Parking is hard sometimes but not like at a uni.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Scottsdale Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I will advise myself that there is enough time to study and get good grades no matter what.I will advise myself the new method i found that helps stduying be less stressful and still have time to have fun
I think the worst thing about my school is the same as the best thing about my school: it is enormous. This makes it much more difficult to find the group of people that you fit into perfectly. At the same time though, this means that there are many more options for you to experiment with until you find the perfect group. It also makes choosing classes, meeting with advisors, and getting to know professors much more difficult; however, once you find your niche, the connections that can be made in such a large school are worthwhile.
my school is small hands on and student orientated
They are attentative and willing to learn
I like that Scottsdale Community College is small and provides a more personnel experience than the one I received from Arizona State University. I also like the specialized courses which attracted me to Scottsdale Community College for my Certificate in Crime Scene Technology.
If you would like to save money for your first two years at a college while you're only fulfilling your prerequisites and general education, community college is a perfect option. SCC is great because of the way the advisors keep MOST of their students on track, the professors are AMAZING and tuition is affordable.
That the teacher don't care if you come to class or not and that you have to have displine to come to class every day. Also if you come to class every day you would pass the class with at least a c. Now if i would of knew this i would of came to class every day so i would of been at a university by now.

The thing that is unique about Scottsdale compared to other schools is that it has many different great programs to offer. Also the campus just got remodeled and the new buildings are very impressive and eco friendly. The buildings make students feel more important because they are brand new and create a possitive learning enviroment for students. Another thing that is unique at scottsdale is the free tutoring for each subject matter. The tutoring is very helpfull for students because it helps them understand the material better and succeed in their classes.
A person who does not have the will or passion to learn. A person who isn't ready to take the next step for a better future. I believe all people should go to school but if you are just not sure if you can handle it then I suggest they wait until they can give it their all.
The small class sizes and the teachers who actually show interest in their students and care about their well being.
More classes could be offered at a wider variety of times.
