Nothing outstanding about this campus, the professors do their jobs, the faculty are helpful when it suits them. Just get your education and get out. In my opinion, Jessup is good for the weight it carries and the opportunities you'll receive after you graduate because of the Jessup name. Other than that, it's about like any other college you could attend. Nothing spectacular.
I think William Jessup is a wonderful institution. The professors are readily available and class sizes make it easier to learn and focus. Jessup has so many incredible aspects going for it that it is growing at a large rate. This brings me to my downside opinion of Jessup. It is growing to fast for what they have planned for. Housing can be a difficult and overcrowded situation and it is nearly impossible to live off campus, especially since they cut your scholarships. While the food is glorious, it also can get repetitive. Another thing, is that tuition has kept rising the past couple years and Jessup does not have a tuition freeze policy in place.
Great school. The teachers really care and are willing to help no matter what. Even willing to sit down for some coffee and just talk. Class size is small, so if that's what you like then it's great. School is nice and small so it's no hassle to walk anywhere.
While not your typical American university, William Jessup is a great learning environment with an even better community. The small class sizes allow for better connection and support between professors and students, there is a good balance or sport; art; and academic priority, and the student body feels like a big extended family. William Jessup is great academically, and even better as an experience.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for William Jessup University is 72%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Attending college has been the most amazing time of my life, its the only thing that keeps me sane. I had a terrible child hood and school was hard on me even in highschool, becasue the outcast or what you would call a loner. When I went to college it gave me something to look foward to, and I loved going to school. just meeting new people that I could actually call friends was thrilling and It made me a better person. It is really hard to afford college even with Student aid, I dont even want to ask my parents for help any more because I know they will say no.
My expericenes were wonderful all around, from the help of a single professor to meeting a group of people that can change your lives for the better.
Its valuable to me because...it actually saved my life.
William Jessup is a small, private university with a tiny yet beautiful campus and a limited number of students; this characteristic makes for more chances to learn personally, speak with professors, be comfortable with your campus family (those who live on campus with you) and build important relationships that benefit your spiritual, emotional, mental, academic, and physical awareness and stability.
My school allows GOD on our campus! He is the center of everything we do. If you seek HIM for direction in your life, everything is much simpler.
My classmates are my family, we all know eachother, we all love to know what is going on with one another, the "dream" of knowing everyone on campus is entirely possible.
The people. William Jessup is such an amazing school because of the staff and the people that go there. Everyone knows eachother, the staff all know each of the students and they all take it upon themselves to help you succeed. The staff all welcome you with open arms into their community and love to help you network, they are all very helpful in finding a career that will help you in the future.
William Jessup (academically) is best known for it's psychology and public policy majors; Socially, it is known for being an extremely small campus for a university, but that feature being a beneficial one to the majority of students who attend here. And on top of that, we are a Christian university, promoting the idea of students making God the top priority in their life.
What i like about this school is that the system that is in place is one that is supportive and focuses on the student. Everyone in the admissions office is really hands on and personalize your enrollment process. They let you know what exactly you need in order to continue to the next step. The way the classes are set up is a cohort model, which is great because the group of students that you start your educational journey with, are the same group of people that you walk with at graduation. To me having the cohort model is a plus as oppose to other colleges or universities. I just became a student but in talking to those that are in current students or alumni have shared nothing but positive experiences about their time at William Jessup University.
there is no stereotype of any kinds but supportive that i know of.
I wish that I had known that although small schools are great and I love Jessup, there are some difficulties going to a small, fast-growing school. There are a lot of changes going on at Jessup in order to accomodate the vast amount of new students that will attend. Some of the alterations call for imperfect circumstances. Sometimes it is hard to adjust to the differences, but you just have to trust that the faculty is making the best decisions they know how to do because they truly care about each and every student which you can easily see.
I think that most students will treat others with a lot of respect even if they don't agree on everything. Yes, I attend a Christian university, but everyone is welcoming and encouraging to each other. Students are told about Christ's love for them, but they are not pushed. Also, the faculty treats everyone fairly. If a student is uncomfortable going to a Christian school maybe they shouldn't attend, but if they want to stretch their understanding and be thrust into an inviting, loving community they should attend.
It has an amazing campus, amazing professors, amazing students and the most amazing softball program! My softball team and the coaches are the greatest!
