Becca’s Closet Spirit of Generosity Scholarship

Rebecca was a passionate, bright, fun-loving young woman who loved being with her friends and felt that no one should miss a high school event because they couldn’t afford to be there. She saw the inequity in the situation and sought to change things. During the Spring of her sophomore year, Becca singlehandedly collected and donated over 250 formal dresses and helped hundreds of girls across South Florida attend their High School proms in style. …

Rebecca Kirtman Memorial Scholarship

U.S. high school seniors who have been involved with Becca’s Closet are eligible to apply for this award. Students must enroll full time and have an unweighted grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Partnership for Access to Higher Education (PATH) Grant

This grant is available for Pennsylvania students who are recipients of the Pennsylvania State Grant and attending an eligible Pennsylvania college or university. Students must be nominated by a participating PATH organization and must demonstrate financial need as determined by their institution.

MathWorks Math Modeling (M3) Challenge

This award is for U.S. high school juniors and seniors who participate in a mathematical modeling challenge as part of a school-based group.

Exelon Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. female incoming and current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are majoring in computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering and enroll full time at select preferred schools. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher if freshmen or 3.0 or higher if not a freshman.

Lax Scholarship

This award is available to openly gay men from the five-county metropolitan Philadelphia region (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia counties) studying anywhere in the U.S., or openly gay men from anywhere in the U.S. who are studying in the five-county metropolitan Philadelphia region.

John M. Haniak Scholarship

Students who are juniors or seniors in a metallurgy or materials science engineering program and are members of ASM International are eligible for this award. Applications are available on the ASM Materials Education Foundation website.

LITA/LSSI Minority Scholarship in Library and Information Technology

U.S. and Canadian citizens who will have earned no more than 12 hours towards a Master of Library Science degree by June of the award year are eligible for this award. Students must be members of a principal minority group; attend an ALA-accredited school; and plan to enter the library automation field.

New York Women in Communications Foundation College Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. female high school seniors and/or current college students who are permanent residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania. Students must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher overall, and major in a communications-related field, such as advertising, broadcasting, communications, journalism, marketing, new media or public relations.
