Becca’s Closet Spirit of Generosity Scholarship
Rebecca was a passionate, bright, fun-loving young woman who loved being with her friends and felt that no one should miss a high school event because they couldn’t afford to be there. She saw the inequity in the situation and sought to change things. Rebecca Kirtman Memorial Scholarship
U.S. high school seniors who have been involved with Becca’s Closet are eligible to apply for this award. Students must enroll full time and have an unweighted grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
Granville P. Meade Scholarship Program
This award is available to Virginia high school seniors who are planning to attend college in Virginia. Students must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.
VLWA Leo Bourassa Scholarship
This scholarship is available for international and U.S. students who are attending a Virginia college or university and are Virginia residents. Students must have completed two or more semesters of undergraduate study, and must be enrolled in a curriculum related to water resources.
MathWorks Math Modeling (M3) Challenge
This award is for U.S. high school juniors and seniors who participate in a mathematical modeling challenge as part of a school-based group.
James McPherson Memorial Endowment Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of Virginia. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Horatio Alger District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia Scholarship Program
This award is for high school seniors who reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia and have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and unmet financial need.
KASF Eastern Region Scholarship
This award is available for Korean-American students living in and attending school in Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and plan to enroll full time.
Vera Yip Memorial Scholarship Award
This award is available for young adult survivors of cancer who were 15 years or older during treatment, or 15 years or older during the treatment of their parent or sibling.
