Great university especially if you’re looking to continue your athletic career! Many things to do on campus you should never be bored. Frequent games and activities. Small school you get to know everyone and it’s really nice seeing familiar faces everyday!
This place is horrible. I went for one semester and it made me hate college. Super expensive. Their sports teams almost unanimously suck. In the entire semester there, I felt like I learned absolutely nothing while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. I don’t know why people go there.
Bluffton has many wonderful and caring people which brings out the strength of a small college. Need help? Can found help all over campus. Even though the small part has it flaws, yet it is safer than most other colleges.
Bluffton University has always been my number one pick, because it's in my hometown (which is beautiful), and is small. Being a private school does make it a little more expensive than other Universities, but it is easy to get to know your professors because class sizes are small.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Bluffton University is 49%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Picking the right college is one of the toughest decisions to make in life. With my experiences I have learned that sometimes you may think you know what you want from a school, but the school that is right for you can be totally different than you expected. Bluffton University was not at all my first choice, I attended it because of financial reasons, but I quickly realized how right it was for me! If your having a tough time with your decision, don't stress out about it. I believe that a good school depends on the friends you make. Sure the quality of your education is important, but if you don't find a "family" away from home then your experiences won't be as good as they can be!
A great school that provides students every oportunity to succede as long as they do their part
It has a very unique criminal justice degree. It teaches restorative justice, which is unlike any other college in this area. It will help you get a job over people who have the plain old retributive justice take to criminal justice.
I whish I had known that there were so many poeple who are willing to help new students. I would not have been so nervous if I had known people were so accepting.
When I tell my friends about the school I attend I brag about the small classes, interaction with professors, and how everyone knows everyone.
After a little while, you get kind of tired of the food...
Students who seek a school that is more of a community of students and faculty and staff rather than just a school where students are a number. Bluffton is intent on building long-lasting connections. When you are walking around campus you often greet one another with a smile or a wave and saying "Hi, How are you?". That's how much of a community Bluffton is.
My classmates are very nice and helpful. If you have about anything at all you can ask anyone on campus and they will be glad to answer your questions.
What I love about Bluffton is the 'at home' feeling I have being here. When you pass by a student or even a fuculty member, there is always an exchange of smiles or each says a polite 'hello.' The campus is small and also very beautiful. The size allows for you to recognize almost everyone you see. I am also involved in althletics while I attend Bluffton and the student support and love for sports is an awesome quality that I love. I have only been here for a semester and i know that Bluffton was a great decision!
The class sizes are small and teachers are very friendly and open to questions and comments. We have a honor system which puts alot of responsiblilty on the students. this requires the students to be very honest because teachers are not allowed to be present during an exam or test and when we finish the exam we sign a pledge stating that we did not give or receive help on the exam. the environment is very friendly and the people are very nice.
non open minded, people who like frat party or like to drink or smoke on campus
The fact that there is hardly anything to do around campus on the weekends, the lack of extracurricular activities, and the FOOD. I feel like we have petitioned to try and change the food service multiple times, and it has never improved. Yikes! That's probably what frustrates me the most, other than having to work extra hard to entertain ourselves on the weekends!
