Cardinal Stritch University is overall a great university. There are many things that can use some improvement, but thats’s to be expected for every institution. Cardinal Stritch offers a friendly environment to everyone. They make sure to offer students the necessary resources to ensure success in the future. There’s a lot of on-campus organizations that one can join, tutoring services, and fun activities on campus that are hosted from time to time.

The school is really small, and all of the buildings are close together, so it's easy to arrive anywhere quickly. It's great that the classes are all small, so everyone can get any extra help or one on one help that they need. All professors are very helpful and open to any student in need of help, so we all feel comfortable reaching out to anyone. Overall most of the students feel comfortable because everyone has such a good vibe throughout the campus, so everyone can reach out to anyone for help or a simple question without hesitation.

PEARL

Cardinal Stritch University has lit a fire under me. I have a new love of learning because of Cardinal Stritch. If I can make one suggestion, it would be to do away with group projects. I have run into so many problems with overbearing members as well as members who make excuses to members who are flat out lazy and being a professional non-tradition student, I don't have the time or patience to deal with other adults. I am not a babysitter, guidance counselor or parent to these people and will not take on any of those roles. I am the member who will do my part and will submit with or without other's contributions.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

In my opinion as a college student who has an elder brother at a huge college i would have to say you have to tailor your college selections to your childs personality. Make a wise decision on the size and type of school they attend to maximize the ability for your child to grow. I know from personal expeircine college students who are in the right enviroment flourish just as the seeds that are thrown into the fertile soil yet just as the seeds that get cast into the stoney and malnurished soil, college students who are set into a bad and restrictive college enviroment wither and get consumed by the negative aspects of life and bet bogged down. Thus i conclud for the growth and behavior of your son or daughter i highly recomend you searching for the school that fits your childs way of life and outlook on life to make the most intelligent and correct decision in their life. Remember this decision will make or break the success of your child for the rest of his life.

  5. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I personally attend the Madison, Wisconsin campus so I tend to get emails about topics more specific to the day to day student life of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin campus. I am an enrolled in their program for working adults and take one class at a time which meets one night a week. There is a high volume of homework inbetween classes so you must be self-disciplined in order to accomplish good grades.

CSU is best known for it's business and nursing programs: one of the best schools in southeast Wisconsin for those disciplines, actually. 12. What are the academics like at your school?

Since we have such a small population here at Stritch it is so much better in small classes because each professor is able to know your name and have more time to interact with every student one on one. My favorite class is psychology so far. I haven't had so much interest in a class before. It doesn't even feel like a class because the professor makes the material so fun and easy to learn. Students here at Cardinal Stritch probably study on a daily basis. Everytime I go into the library I see kids everywhere working on homework. At the moment I am undecided in my major but I am hoping by taking more classes I will eventually find what I am most interested in doing in the future.

  13. What are the most popular student activities/groups?

I think that most of the popular events would be some of the hall events when people gather to do different activities with other kids who stay on campus, but of course even commuters are welcome! Also we have lots of groups such as: Psychology club, Spanish club, and different student orginizations. It is nice because if there is a group that we don't offer, you are always welcome to start one!
