Crafton Hills is a beautiful school where you can get your GE classes done before transferring. You get pretty small classes to where your professors can actually remember your name and answer any questions you have. If I could go to any community college again, I would 100% choose Crafton all over again.
Crafton Hills is a beautiful campus with beautiful people. Buildings are always full of students and faculty sharing stories and reminiscing. My favorite building resembles an Aztec design through its stone, temple-like staircase embedded with vines and antiquity. It’s peaceful spot to observe and become inspired. My school is built on a paradise hill and it is a wonderful and empowering place to be. I found myself here, surrounded by the mountains and trees and everything I love in nature.
They have some good people who work their but the educational loops that are needed to navigate the system are too much. They have modern buildings that gorgeous and I think they will be renovating the other half of the school in the upcoming years. The parking is good for the amount of cars that are their, only time I wasn't able to find a spot was when I was already late for classes.
Crafton Hills College is a great community college in the area! The professors are amazing, they want their students to succeed and provide ways for their students to actually pass their classes. The counselors are also very helpful, and provide good tips on how to get by in college. The transfer center is also super amazing! They will answer all questions regarding transferring and have representatives from other colleges come and talk to students who plan to transfer. Crafton Hills is overall a great affordable college! Definitely recommend it!
It is a great college to complete general education requirements. Professors seem to be passionate about the subject they teach and are available. However, some professors are hard to get in contact with because they are working on their PhD. Otherwise, cheap and affordable college if you are planning on transferring to a UC or CSU.
Great school to attend. Staff is friendly and funny. The dynamic of the campus is in the hills and is currently expanding as well as getting a face lift. Sports is not a big thing but is known for one of the best school for the Fire Dept. The professors are easy to reach even with the chaos of constructions on campus. The cons of the campus is Parking. This campus needs a parking structure.
I love this school! It is a great place to begin your education career, especially right after high school and those who wish to better their current careers. The staff is amazing, they are always willing to help in any way they can. The student community is a great one we all care for each other and help where we can. The grounds of the school are kept in great shape, and the buildings are amazing. Anyone looking to go should you will not regret it.
My overall opinion is the school is there for you when ever needed. Students from all ages and all backgrounds attend, and everyone gets along. I have never seen a fight nor have been in one. I also have not seen immaturity at this school. The location is that it has a wonderful scenery, and is nice and secluded so there not many distractions.
Crafton Hills College is an extremely viable community college to attend in the Yucaipa area. Not only is it affordable, but Crafton has relationships with nearby high schools which allow students to take college classes while in high school (dual-enrollment) and thus gain credits earlier. Professors are also readily available and quick to help and campus is spacious.
Crafton Hills college is a good place to tart college. If you don't know what major your plan to pursue than this is a good place to start figuring it out and start on your general education while doing so. Even without financial aid, Crafton Hills College is a relatively cheep school. Most people i know that attend at this school receive financial aid every semester. Some students are even eligible to get both classes and books paid for depending on financial status in the home. However, I do not recommend staying here more than necessary since most jobs need more than an associates degree or certificate to get hired; which is all Crafton offers since it's a community college.
As a current student at Crafton Hills college, I believe that it's an awesome place to start. Being someone who didn't get phenomenal grades in highschool, I had to attend a 2 year college in order to transfer to a 4 year university. I am now on my second year at Crafton and I can say that it's a second home to me. Not only are the professors wonderful, but the students and environment are too. To help students succeed, the college provides a stem and tutoring center, which have been beneficial to many students. The professors are also available for office hours too. At Crafton Hills College, there is an art gallery and many clubs that people are able to join. Overall, Crafton is wonderful place for many students to start their college journey at!
I love it! it is such a quiet campus and nature filled so you feel very relaxed and stress-free! The Professors are very kind and are willing to help you outside of class to make sure you get the help that you need. There are a variety of clubs and the people are very friendly. The expenses are not too pricey.
It is an accessible campus that has some great classes. There are some newer buildings and all staff and professors are very helpful. The ground are kept up which makes the campus look nice. Not much options for food, but it is close to nearby restaurants.
Craft Hills College is a nice campus for undergraduate learning. The highest degree you can earn through Crafton is an associates but they have transfer agreements with all the CSU's and UC's in California and they also have agreements with some private universities as well.
It is a great school. Most of the students I know are there to focus on academics only not any extracurricular activities or clubs. Only staff that is hard to get a hold of is the finance office. There are many online and evening classes available for those who can not attend in the morning or afternoon. The campus is very big and has a lot of stairs be ready to walk because there is often no parking available.
I believe Crafton Hills College is the best community college by far on top of many in the regional area. None compare to how amazing it is. Being on the top of a hill its only drawback is the nearby shops are about a quarter mile down but even at that there is a city bus that can take you down for free since you're a student.
Crafton Hills College is a typical Community College that tries its best to set you up for a 4 year college. It has great teachers and a great layout. There is no on campus housing and very few apartments nearby. Most students live with there family. you will need a car or a bus pass to attend as there is very little around the school. The food is decent , we have a small cafe and snack shop, but dont expect much in the way of gluten free or vegan options. there is little to no sports, we have a swim team and a track, but no track team. All in all, the classes are good with good teachers but there is a lot the school can work on.
Crafton Hills College is a great facility for new and upcoming students, the campus is neither to big nor to small and has a great view of the San Bernardino County. I think the campus itself is very beautiful and its nicely spread out so that its not to cramped. The academics is very helpful but could be a little better. We as students understand that there will be good and bad teachers and I am grateful to say that I have had more good than bad teachers. Great campus for trying to get an education without breaking the bank the only thing that would be helpful is if they provided upper level classes.
