I have never been disappointed by LSUA. Every class I have ever taken was easy to understand the professor; other students are always willing to help; campus is easy to navigate and the upgrades to the school in the past years have made it even more enjoyable. There is no other college campus that I would rather be involved with.
If you are interested in staying small town, this is a good option. At least in the science/math areas
The university is fit for those wanting that college experience, but still feel as if they are at home. The staff and faculty have familiar faces and are always kind. I enjoy this university and I'm sure it will continue to grow, expand and offer more degree options in the near future.
If your looking for a school to go to school and get in and out this is the place for you. There are little to none campus events going on. Everyone is about their business and getting their education as fast as possible. Also its one of the cheapest colleges in the area.

If I could go back and talk to my high scool self there would be quite a few things I would share. First, I would say that education is not about social class, appearnace, or social status it is much more. It gives you the privilege of making your individual goals in life come true. Also I would strongly focus on sharing the importance of keeping your education first. After all, knowledge can not be lost but many things in high school can be. Lastly, I woud emphasize the importance of using high school as a growing experience. This is a place where weaknesses and strengths can be revealed both socially and educationally. Also I would tell my high school self to enjoy the depths of learning who you are because this is a process that will continue through your college career and throughout life.
A person should go to this school if they want to really get a good education. Somebody who likes to meet new people and experience living on campus in a city and just want to be around many things. A person should come to this school if they serious about starting a career and want to began a knew life on their own.
The kind of person that shouldn't attend this school is a a lazy person that just wants all the classwork handed to them on a silver platter because this school definetly doesn't do that for it's students.
I don't brag, really, but I feel like my classes are more advanced than others.
LSUA is a non-traditional school, so regardless of the circumstances that hinder your education, your motivation should always stay alive.
Classmates are energetic and friendly.
LSUA is known for its broad variety of courses and hands on instructional learning.
The limited availabilty of courses, the lack on on campus activities, the lack of interships and research opportunities, the difficulty of transferring to a more prestiguous university once coursework has begun, and the lack of degrees offered.
The best thing about my school is that all the classes are convveinent and are close by and you can walk to every class. I also like that the proffessors and the advisors try to help you any way they can. I also like that they have god finacial aid.
They don't provide scholarships or financial aid opportunities to internation students
It's a very small school, in terms of student population
