Because I go to a private art college, the diversity level is very small. The african american population is maybe 2%, so it can be a little uncomfortable walking into a classroom where you are the only person of color there. I wish my school was more upfront about the lack of diveristy in the student and staff population, becasue that might have altered my desison making.
