Champlain is in my home state. I come from a small town here in Vermont, so this was my first step to get used to "city life." I love the people here. It doesn't feel as congested as a college located in the heart of NYC for example, and academics and the social life is just as strong as in other areas. Champlain is definitely one-of-a-kind and I would highly recommend it to someone looking for a unique intimate college experience.
Strong in technology. Freshman dorms are Victorian mansions. Small classes, great professors. Mostly on a first name basis with most of your professors. Lots of activities do to. Great college town.
The surrounding Burlington area. I love walking downtown to Church street because it is blocked off from cars so I can walk around and shop.
