College of the Ozarks Top Questions

The worst thing, for me, about coming to College of the Ozarks was that I would be more than four hours away from any one of my family members in any given direction. Other than that, I had a very easy transition from living at home to living in my dorm room.

The worst thing about my college is the way administration handles rumors and activities that the students do. On more than one occasion administration has kicked people out for rumors or stdent problems. Instead of fixing the problem, such as counseling, the school would rather get rid of the student so it will not look bad on them. They are all about appearances.

The worst thing about College of the Ozarks is that Freshman cars are locked up Monday at 1 am to Friday at 12 pm.

The worst thing about CofO is that things are not always as they appear. The professors and the other students are amazing, and the administration seems to support the students well enough, but all the administration really cares about is appearance of the college. Also they say that you get to attend for "free," but fail to throw the disclaimer about fees and books and such. It is *practically* free, not totally free.

The fact that it is closed off from the towns around it. It is very close to two towns, but for students who do not own a car (like myself) have a hard time getting groceries and toiletries. There is no where that a student may apply to work unless they have a car; walking would be too far. I feel a little closed in and claustrophobic sometimes.

for a college whose emphasis is the support of the financially challenged in academia, the college still drains the student's wallet with hidden costs and restricting the student's ability to make money off campus.

The constant worry of appearance, this is not a healthy perspective especially on a Christian lifestyle.

Some of the buildings need repaired badly. They are slowly working on it though as well as building new buildings. I wish the dorms had bath tubs in them as well.

Probaly how strict and closed minded they are toward personal relationships .
