A person who does not care about school should not attend this school. Someone who just come to school just to say they're enrolled in school should definetlty not attend. People who only attend school just to get a refund check, should not attend this school as well. Dillard does not tolerate people who does not want to be apart of school.
The type of person that should not attend this school is one that is lazy, someone that is not focused and someone that simply wants to be away from home to party. While having fun is an essential part in the college experience, one should be able to find an appropriate balance between work and play. If one cannot not maintain, then Dillard is not for them.
The type of person who shouldn't attend this school, is some one who is scared. You, as a perosn, has to be open to dealing with new people and comfortable with yourself. This school is small so if you want a big school with a football team, then it's not for you. Also, you have to speak up for everything, so if your not used to it then dont come because everybody speaks for what they want.

A person who is looking for a big school feel, looking for school pride, diversity or finacial or admistrative assitance. Dillard University is a homogenoius school with little to no ethinic diversity, there are 825 students that attend Dillard University and all but 8 students are African American. Dillard Univeristy does not meet thier students fiancial needs adequatly nor does Dillard University take students safety seriously, we have poor lighting at night, gates which people craw under to get onto campus, broken locks on dorm facailities and staff that does not report or take the concerns of the students seriously.

A person who lacks self control and also a person who does not know how to handle his/her business. The staff at Dillard University can be unorganized at times and give you inconsistent answers, especially when it comes to financial aid. Dillard University does not handle business very well when it comes to the students. Many student leave because of the lack of financial aid or failing grades.
