"The Harvard of Aviation".
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is a prestigous engineering and flight school offering wide range of degrees and supporting a studious environment encouraging the growth of its students in math and science related fields.
My school is a close knit community of some of the brightest minds of the world heading towards the same goals of success.
This is the perfect school if you are pursuing anything in the aviation industry or want to become an officer in the United States Military.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is an Aviation/Space geek's dream school.
Embry Riddle is the best choice ive ever made because the instructors have backgrounds in aviation that i hope to mirror, if i ever need help i can easily talk to an advisor or experienced student for acurate advice, and there are plenty of clubs and activities that students can get involved with instead of sitting around the dorms or apartments all day.
A modern, small, diverse school.
I honestly don't know much about Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, other than the fact that they are the biggest private aerospace campus in the world, and they are the only university that is offing the Commerical Space Operations degree this coming Fall - hence the reason I am applying there.
It's a pretty open campus. From some perspectives, it kind of looks like an industrial park, and from other perspectives it looks like a grouping of apartment complexes. From inside campus, it just looks like a modern day university campus. It's not a very big campus; you can walk from the far end to the other far end in about 15 minutes. Also worth mentioning is that the whole west side of the campus has an open view of the airport, as well as our airplane fleet, so that is something you don't see on very many college campuses.
Good ability to prepare you for the work-force but not much on the social aspect, you are always studying and working but you get a good education for your money.
Embry-Riddle is a school were if one wants to achieve something in aviation and get involved in the aviation industry this is the place to be.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautcial University is the standard to which all other aeronutical schools are compared.
Its very expensive but very worth it because of its prestige in aviation related careers.
Academically focused, good programs, excellent proffessors and computer labs, nice environment, but bad food, dorms, extra curricular activities and hard to find jobs.
Consists of mostly engineers and lot is 82% male.
ERAU is an aviation centeredd university.
Embry Riddle specializes in aeronautics making it possible to produce students who are the best at what they do.
It is a great career oriented university, which is the leader in aviation colleges for almost a decade now.
It can be difficult at times, but overall fun.
A damn fine Engineering Institution.
