Take the time for an education. Do not wait. Education is the key to stability . Do not let your freinds talk you out of it just so you can go out and have fun. There is plenty of time to do that when you get a little older. It will be worth it when you see what college has to offer. It's not as easy, once you are married and have children.

The most important thing to do is graduate from high school. Then keep investing in yourself, stay in school! Even if you are not sure what field you are interested in, you can complete your general subjects like English or Math. Most of the jobs that would provide a decent income , all require a degree or some kind of certification. The difference it would make in your life is unbelieveable.

If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior, having the knowledge and experience I have now, I would tell myself to not take anything for granted. i would let myself know not to assume there would always be someone there to help you and encourage you. At some point you will have to stand on your own. i would say to work smarter now so you don't have to work harder later. Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, no matter how trivial or unimportant it may seem at the time. Everything you learn along the way will be useful at some point or another in your life. But, with that being said, I would also tell myself to have fun and hang on to ture friends and to be excited about every encounter. There will never be another time in your life like your senior year. You are on top of the world with unlimited resources at your fingertips. The world is yours for the taking but it can take you over you if you are not careful. So, take it in, soak it up and enjoy the moment.

Life is way too short to wait. I put off going back to school for twelve years and not until recently I realized how very important a good education is. You think school is boring and pointless now, but if you want to make a descent living, you need to pursue a career. College is so much different than high school and the fact that you are paying for it, you tend to take it very serious. I wish I would have known back then what I know now. Find what interests you and check out your options, I guarantee you will thank me later.
