Try not to let out of state tuitions or private school prices scare you away. In the end if you pick the right place for you, and take a path you feel passionate about, its worth entirely more than the money you spent in school to get there. Don't pick a place just because its where your family went or your friends will be either. You are paying a lot of money to get your education, even at smaller community colleges. College costs a lot, and takes a lot of time. Don't waste either of those. Work hard, remember why youre there, where you came from, be as open minded as possible, and remember to keep a life outside of your studies. The new people and experiences in college are just as much a part of being there, growing up, and finding the path to who you are! And of course, get some sleep sometimes!!

Drink, heavily, its the only time youll be able to get away with it. Make mistakes. cry more. stay up on caffine and uppers for two days. just to finsh a work of art youll go through hell. you learn the true meaning of words like fervor, auspicious, ambitious. Don't think that you'll know exactly the outcome of what you are trying to accomplish. There are a lot of options in this world to make your career form around. Be open to a surprising change, especially as a young person just getting out of High School. There is a lot more to life to learn about. When thinking about selecting a school, be sure that the size fits. If you are a very private person, a small school may not be the best place for you. But if you are a very social person and like to know the people you are with at all times, maybe a smaller school is better for you. College is more than just a piece of paper given to you at the end; it is a time of growth and learning. College is where you become who you want to be. This is where you learn the things about yourself that you may not have known existed. This is the time you need to be able to take risks, because the rest of your life is made for settling down. This is your time to understand yourself, and explore the possibilites.
