Lafayette College Top Questions

Why did you decide to go to this school?

Shehtaz

I picked the school for its location, and for what the curriculum had to offer. 70 miles from New York City, an hour-long bus ride away from Philadelphia, great "small liberal arts college" feel -- and more importantly, the stellar humanities program. I knew that I would get the personalized attention that I wanted, the small classrooms and intimate discussions and the intellectual rigor that I had so craved in high school. I also knew that come weekends, I would not be picking at straws to find something to do on campus.

I got recruited to play basketball at Lafayette, but I never would have come here if it wasn't such a strong academic institution. The size of classes makes it so easy to participate and learn.
