Laney College is not for those who want to recieve a bachlors degree or is serious about a particular subject and wants to find themselves submerged in a cluster of people that are all aspiring todo the same thing. Laney is a school for continuing education, polishing skills, discovering potential and limits, or to transfer to an accredited 4-year institution. It is not a place to settle and call home.
Any person who isn't socially active or into the urban scene wouldn't feel comfortable here. Laney college is a very vibrant place with different activities and fun happening in the courtyard just about every day
