My classmates are a group of people focused on academics, who also want to acheive in other areas, whether it be spiritually, on a sports team, socially, or musically.
One of the most important aspects of Lyon College is the Honor Code. All students and faculty sign it at the beginning of the school year as a promise to uphold good academic standards. Therefore, Lyon students pledge all their work as adhering to honor. Unsurprisingly, this creates a student body with academic integrity. However, this is only one influence of the high achievement Lyon is known for. Because professors accept no less than a student's best, my classmates push themselves to do ever better in their courses. That in itself creates an honorable set of classmates.
