What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Megan

I would tell myself to look at all options and follow my heart and not do something just cause I think its what my family wants. Be myself and do what makes me happy.

Christina

I would tell myself that as pointless as it all seems, it really is 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} worth it in the end. I almost didn't graduate because I had lost faith in myself. But now, being a freshmen in college and seeing how much I can really accomplish, I would tell myself to never, ever doubt myself. I'm capable of doing anything in the world that I set my mind to. And despite the fact that everyone around me was telling me I would never succeed and that I may as well drop out (including my mother), I would hug myself and tell me that it'll all work out. I would tell me to be more passionate about not only academics, but about life. I'd listen to others more. I'd listen to myself more. I'd sit back and take in all the knowledge I possibly could. I'd motivate others. And most of all, I'd motivate myself. I'd tell myself that being apathetic will never work, and that although it seems easier to quit, quitting is actually harder than it seems. I'd enjoy school, and I'd love it like I do now.
