The people here at Mississippi University for Women are what make the school so remarkable. I came in as a upset and confused sophomore who had taken 19 hours at a program at another college only to find out those hours would not transfer to MUW. The administrators were so understanding and helped me get back on track to pursing my degree.
I think the best thing about my school is that there are so many opportunites to get involved, and MUW gives the vibe that they do sincerely care about the students best interests.
Small campus and class sizes. Friendly people, and if you show an interest in your education the professors will show an interest in you.
It advertises that it has a private school feel at a public school cost and that really is one of greatest things about it. It's affordable and it's easy to feel at home here.
